KCET Result 2019 will be declared in May 2019 on the official website. Candidates can check their KCET 2019 Result by logging onto the result portal using their registration number. The result will comprise the ranks and scores obtained by candidates.

Those who qualify KCET 2019 exam can participate in the Counselling round for admission in various Engineering colleges in Karnataka. The seat allotment process is expected to begin from June 2019.

KEA or Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct KCET 2019 exam in April 2019 in the offline mode. After the exam is conducted, KEA releases the answer key for the reference of candidates. How to Check KCET Result 2019?

KCET 2019 exam is scheduled to take place in April 2019. Once the exam is conducted, answer keys for the same will be made available in June 2019. KCET 2019 Result will be declared in May 2019 on KCET official website. Steps to check KCET 2019 result are as follows:

  • Visit the official KCET website, i.e.
  • Click on KCET Result 2019 and you will be directed to another page.
  • Candidates must provide their registration number & then click the submit button
  • Candidates rank will be displayed along with their score in KCET
  • Candidates must download & take a printout of their KCET Result 2019.

Candidates will also be notified about KCET Result 2019 on their registered mobile numbers. However, individual rank cards will not be sent to the candidates. In order to download individual rank cards, the candidates will have to log in to their accounts.

KCET 2019 Answer Key

The official KCET 2019 Answer Key will be released on the KCET official website just before the declaration of result and after the commencement of exam. KCET 2019 Answer Key will be released in second week of May 2017. Candidates need to follow these steps to download KCET answer keys:

  • Then download the answer key according to your paper code.

KCET 2019 Merit List

Candidates who appear in KCET should note that scores will be considered while preparing KCET Merit List. Candidates who score the minimum required marks in each subject and as well as the aggregate marks will be included in the rank list. If two candidates score the same marks, tiebreaker policy will be used to calculate the rank of the candidate.

Candidates will be invited for KCET 2019 Counselling on the basis of the KCET 2019 Merit List. The seat allotment will take place according to the merit list.

There will be 5 different KCET 2019 Merit Lists which will be different for each course. The 5 different merit lists are as follows:

  1. KCET 2018 Engineering merit list
  2. KCET 2018 Ayurveda merit list
  3. KCET 2018 Pharmacy merit list
  4. KCET 2018 Architecture merit list
  5. KCET 2018 Homoeopathy merit list

KCET 2019 Tie Breaker Policy

If two or more candidates score the same marks in KCET 2019, the tie-breaker policy is used for ranking. The rank will be based on the higher marks scored in Mathematics by candidates. If still the same rank arrives, the Physics section’s marks will be preferred for ranking. If still, the rank doesn’t change, the same rank will be awarded to both or more candidates who have scored same marks.

KCET Cut Off 2019

KCET Cut Off is available only after the counselling and admission process is over. KCET 2019 Cut Off will be the minimum marks required for admission to institutes of Karnataka offering B.Tech programmes. KCET 2019 Cut Off will be dependent on the following factors:

  • Number of candidates who enrolled for the exam
  • Difficulty level of the KCET exam
  • Availability of seats
  • Candidates who appeared in the test

KCET 2019 Counselling

KCET 2019 Counselling is required to be attended by the students in the order of the KCET merit list. Candidates have to appear for the counselling for various undergraduate and post graduate courses. It should be noted that KCET Counselling is conducted in both online and offline modes.

  • Candidates will be invited for KCET 2019 Counselling on the basis of their score in the exam.
  • KCET counselling process includes preference of colleges and courses, document verification and finally seat allotment procedure.
  • The selected candidates will be allocated seats in the seat allotment procedure of KCET 2019 based on their ranking in the merit list and selection of college and courses.
  • Candidates will have to visit the allotted institute for reporting along with necessary documents for the purpose of document verification.
  • KCET 2019 seat allotment will be conducted in two or more rounds depending on the number of candidates.
