Ans. Yes I took coaching classes in my home town Patna. I went for PCM subjects in Patna Tutorials. It had very good faculties. Whenever I faced any issue regarding any subject I used to clear with them. They were constantly helping me in my subjects which finally helped me in scoring good marks. They also provided me their own notes which were a kind of added advantage all together. After all, self-studies gave me enough courage to go for the competitive exams.

Ans. I was studying in Patna Science College at that time. I used to study chapter wise subjects and had a habit of covering related questions that could be asked in my board exams and competitive exams as well. I did not find any difficulty as long as I followed my procedure of covering basic and advanced all at same time.
Ans. My strong areas were physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry in chemistry. In physics I had a good command over magnetism, optics, vector and Newtonian mechanics. In mathematics I was strong in Calculus, algebra and geometry. I regularly used to attempt questions related to my subjects and laid more emphasis on weak areas such as organic chemistry, integration etc. I took a note on my improved technique of solving a problem so that I could use them in the long run.
Ans. The mock papers which I used to give were primarily from my coaching centers. They had a good level of questions. I used to give them every week in early months and every 2 days in later months. It mentioned as advanced practice and quick practice mock papers. I never used online mock papers.
Ans. Just before 4 months, a student can make notes of different chapters and their percentages that cover the whole syllabus. And start preparing according to the weightage. For example, geometry is handy for most of the students and we know it comprises of more than 30% of the math syllabus so it should be prepared first. Likewise he or she should approach for different subjects too.

Ans. For physics I used to solve regular questions in book titled 'Concepts of Physics' by HC Verma. And I also solved vector from Irodov’s book. Though it has a very high level but I used to solve many questions through graph which made me to shorten the steps all together. For theory part I followed NCERT text books. They gave me enough details for understanding the chapters. NCERT books are cheap in comparison to other books and many scholar students prefer it. So I strongly recommend that for theory portion NCERT books must be preferred.
Ans. In chemistry my strategy was simple. I used to discuss chain reactions as sn1 and sn2 reactions of organic chemistry in my friend circle. For physical chemistry, I used to follow a book written by RCM and Sinha Ghosh Lal. These books are very popular in the stationary market. RCM was a much better book for preparation of IIT JEE and AIEEE back then. Its level was standard. Whereas Sinha Ghosh Lal was for the basic entry of students. For inorganic chemistry, I strongly followed my teacher's class notes. They were more than enough.
Ans. Math was considered to be the most difficult among the three sections. I used to follow the M.L. Khanna book which is considered to be the best book for the math. I also practiced questions from R.D. Sharma. These books were of very high standard and gave me a very good understanding to questions. The sections of integration in M.L. Khanna was really good. I also tried to solve bulk questions from K.C. Sinha book who is a faculty of math in Patna Science College. I tried as many questions as I could to get hands on different questions and chapters.
