Ans. I took a gap of two years and I was preparing in between. In this span of 2 years, I was completely focused on the preparation.
Ans. I was a bit bad in Chemistry so I joined Deepak sir classes in Ranchi and I learned the basics of chemistry. Most difficult part was Physical 1 but he explained it well and I still can understand and solve problems from there. Regular classes and lectures helped me a lot through the preparation. I advise the students to work on their weak areas but also polish their strong area so that they are confident about them when they take their exam.
Ans. Instead of studying everything, prepare a syllabus and cross the things which you know best. Start with the week subjects and put more efforts there. Try to eliminate things which is not necessary to study. Learn tricks to solve fast. Time management is the virtue that will succeed the students. Manage your time well, this is one thing I regret today.

Ans. As I said, I followed the NCERTs. Those are very informative and helps you in the exam. These cover most of the syllabus. I had to work very hard in this section. With the coaching classes, I gave extra hours in solving numericals.
Ans. Mathematics is tough. With the NCERTs, one can also refer to other books as reference.
Ans. I could have done better time management and could have got a good collage. But I was investing my time in CCA which took me a little back. Time management is very essential for the students applying for this exam. They should also be attentive in their 11th and 12th standard. This will take them halfway to the preparation.
