STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
CEE, Government of Kerala has released the KEAM 2018 rank list on June 20. Candidates whose names appear in the KEAM rank list 2018 will be able to participate in the counselling session for seat allotment. The rank list was prepared by calculating the marks secured in KEAM 2018 (Paper I and Paper II) and the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics secured during the 12th standard examination in the ratio of 50:50.

The rank list will be separate from one course to that of another course.
KEAM Medical Rank List will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by them in Paper I and II of KEAMEntrance Exam. Paper I will comprise of Physics and Chemistry. Paper II will comprise of questions from Biology.
While preparing merit list on the basis of KEAM engineering 2016 cutoff, following parameters will be considered
The standardized mark (YBG) is calculated separately for every subject i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science. The total score shall be limited to 300. The formula can be denoted as
The rank list is prepared on the following factors:
The NATA score out of 200 is added to the total marks secured in the qualifying examination out of 200. Thus, the KEAM Rank List for B. Arch is calculated by considering the total score out of 400.
The rank list is based on the total marks obtained in Paper I (Chemistry & Physics) and Paper II (Biology) of KEAM Medical entrance.
The KEAM Rank list for Ayurveda course is also based on the Medical Rank List. Additionally, 10 marks is added in case of candidates having Sanskrit as their additional language.

In the situation where candidates secure same marks, admission authority follows the tiebreaker process. Mentioned below are the steps that admission authority follows.
Step 1- The candidates with higher marks in Mathematics in KEAM 2018 will be placed higher

Step 2- The candidates who get higher in Physics will be given preference.

Step 3- The candidates with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of the 12th standard will be given a higher ranking.

Step 4- Higher standardized marks in Physics during 12th standard examinations will be given higher rank.

Step 5- Those candidates who are older in age will be ranked higher than the candidates who are younger in age.
