NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NID Kurukshetra (NIDK) has released the notification for admission to Graduate Diploma Program in Design (GDPD) for the academic session 2017-2018. The admission will be given to candidates that clear the entrance test (DAT 2017). DAT 2017 is the Design Aptitude Test in which there are 2 sections having 100 questions in total. NIDK offers graduate diploma in following fields:
The GDPD is divided into 2 semesters which is followed by 3 year specialized study in these programs. The students are acquainted with fundamentals of design, relationship of design with human senses and emotions, culture and ecology.

NID DAT is conducted to test the designing aptitude of a candidate broadly, along with other sections to judge a candidate’s willingness to excel in the field of Design. The skills tested in NID DAT 2017 Exam will be:

The GDPD program is also available in NID Vijaywada Campus.
The candidates are selected on the basis of Merit List of DAT exam, short listed candidates will be called for Studio Test and Personal Interview round. The no. of students selected will be will be no less than 3 times the no. of seats available per category in that discipline.
The final merit list will be declared by NID which is calculated considering marks of each stage of selection process.
The procedure for applying to NID Kurukshetra campus or any other NID campus is the same. The candidate will be required to register for NID DAT 2017. Follow the steps given below for the same:
The fees can be paid by credit card/debit card or net banking. The candidates can also pay the fees through Demand Draft ‘in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at New Delhi. The application fee of NID 2017 is as follows:
