Goa SSC Board Exams 2020 commenced with precautionary steps amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education(GBSHSE) began conducting SSC Board exams 2020 from May 21, 2020 onwards. According to the revied schedule that was released on the official website, the exams are set to conclude on June 06, 2020.

Goa SSC was given the green signal from Bombay High Court and Ministry of Home Affairs after closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and finding that there was not much to worry about(though not letting their guard down). 

The Board directed all the schools to follow the set precautionary methods before conducting the exams and has been told to follow them strictly during the whole course of the exam. 

Earlier, an official notice released by the conducting body stated that the examination will commence at 9.00 a.m. altogether categories (General/CWSN/Pre- Vocational/NSQF category). All the candidates are advised to be present at their respective Centre of Examination half-hour before the commencement of Examination.

Late arrival beyond half-hour after the commencement of the examination in each subject shall disqualify the candidate from appearing for that examination. Apart from this, 10 minutes extra time will be allotted for paper as one-time relaxation in time. Students who are appearing for the Goa SSC board exams can check the ultimate datesheet on the board’s official website i.e. www.gbshse.gov.in 

Goa SSC Board Examination 2020 is being conducted at 29 centres across the state. Approximately 19, 680 candidates are going to be appearing for the exams out of which 9,790 are boys and 9,890 are girls.
