The state government has issued an order to open Government-run Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalayas schools in 76 blocks of the state.
These Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalayas will be opened at 76 blocks of Rajasthan out of 167 blocks where Swami Vivekananda Model Schools are not there
The Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalayas are English-medium schools affiliated to the state board syllabus, unlike Government-run Swami Vivekananda model schools are affiliated to the CBSE syllabus in English-medium.
To provide equal education opportunities to all students, the initiative to start Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalayas in the state was taken by the state government. Under this initiative, a total of 33 such schools were started in all the districts of the state, said School Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara.
The step taken by the state government will be of paramount importance to students as this will provide them a golden opportunity to gain quality education in these government-run schools.
Furthermore, the initiative will also improve the overall infrastructure of school education in the state as more students will be able to have equal education opportunities. As it is believed education is the key to success.
