Cambridge University to hold online lectures until 2021

Such a gathering is not something that somebody would really like in today's situation. therefore the managing body decided to carry the classes online since March 2020 so as to curb the spread and preventing the obstruction in the flow of knowledge

Cambridge University is consistently adapting to changing advice as it emerges during the pandemic. Given that it is likely that social distancing will still be required, the university has decided there will be no face-to-face lectures during the subsequent academic year i.e. Summer 2021. The authorities decided to ask its lecturers to continue providing online lectures to students. Though occasionally small groups of scholars can be given face to face classes keeping in mind the social distancing norms are followed rigorously. Seeing the continued situation, the exams also are vulnerable to be conducted online.

The British authorities plans to partially reopen English Primary Schools from June 1, 2020 but this is being challenged by some unions and local councils over safety concerns. Britain has the highest death toll in Europe and the second-worst in the world behind the United States. 

COVID-19 is not going to fade away easily, some strict measures should be followed, and looking upon the statistics of the UK, it can be said that Cambridge made the right decision.
