KSEEB, the conducting authority of Karnataka SSLC exam 2020 has postponed the exam and released a circular regarding the same due to COVID-19 outbreak. Seeing that many of the candidates that would be appearing for the exam have shifted to their homes during this crisis period, the board has decided to allow candidates to change their desired exam centre.
KSSEB earlier mentioned that the SSLC board exam for Class 10 students will be held at 2,879 exam centres across the state under new guidelines, which make wearing a mask and maintaining social distance mandatory.
Candiates who wish to change their exam centres can identify any exam centre near to their place on the official website and write a letter to the headmaster of their respective school mentioning the required details. The last date to do the same is May 29, 2020.
Once the school headmaster receives the application letter from the candidate, they should scrutinize the document according to the rules that are guided to them and confirm the change if the candidate suits the conditions.
They also mentioned that the candidates whose previous exam centre is in the same taluk in which they are now are not eligible for the process. Moreover, KSEEB made it clear that the hall ticket number of the candidates will remain the same after the change that follows.
