The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) will host a webinar on May 27, 2020 to discuss the government preparations to support the teachers and educators on how to continue teaching during COVID-19. The webinar will be conducted from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

To avoid any loss in studies, all the schools started conducting virtual classes due to the lockdown being imposed across the country. With the extension in lockdown, the teaching-learning process has been affected, the examinations have been postponed and the academic calendar has also undergone changes.

The Webinar will be addressed by the National Council of Teacher Education, Dr. Satbir Bedi. The discussion will be based on the government support for the teachers and educators to deliver quality classes during lockdown.

Indo-Africa Webinar

"Indo-Africa discussion: sharing experiences on teaching during COVID-19", the title of webinar is self explanatory that all the measures taken by government during the lockdown period to keep the educational system in track will be discussed along with taking into account the initiatives as part of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.

Since the lockdown has been announced from March 24, 2020, the HRD Minister has launched numerous digital learning platforms namely, DIKSHA, PM E-Vidya Programme and SWAYAM Prabha.
