The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will be conducting the pending board examinations for classes 10 and 12 in June 2020. Govind Singh Dotsara, the Education Minister of Rajasthan, announced this in a tweet on Friday. The timetable for the examinations of both the classes will soon be released by the board.
The results for RBSE classes 10 and 12 will be announced in July.
The RBSE Class 10 examinations were scheduled to be held from 12 to 24 March this year, while those for Class 12 were meant to be given from 20 to 27 March. The RBSE examinations were indefinitely postponed due to COVID-19.
After a review meeting of the education department, that took place in the presence of Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, the decision to conduct the remaining RBSE examinations was taken.
The Chief Minister has instructed officials to make sure that health protocols are followed when the students take their examinations. Students and teachers have to maintain social distancing while entering the centre, while the examinations are going on, and while leaving the centre, the Chief Minister has said.
