The Directorate of Medical Education and Research Haryana has released the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result. Selected candidates must report for document verification at PGIMS Rohtak from September 6 to 8.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana has released the result. The Round 1 seat allotment result for Haryana NEET UG 2026 Counselling is out. The list is available on the official portal at uhsrugcounselling.com.
The state counselling uses NEET UG scores to fill medical seats. NEET UG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate.
Selected candidates must complete two key steps. First, they must pay the provisional tuition fee online. Second, they must report for document verification at PGIMS Rohtak.

What Does the Round 1 Allotment Cover?
The counselling covers MBBS and BDS seats in Haryana. These include seats in government, government-aided and private colleges. All admissions must take place through the official counselling process.

Where Is the Physical Reporting Being Held?
The document verification will take place at Sushruta Auditorium, PGIMS Rohtak, Haryana. Candidates must reach the venue with all original documents.

How to Check the Round 1 Allotment Result?
Candidates can follow these steps to check the result:
- Visit the official portal at uhsrugcounselling.com.
- Click on the ‘Notifications’ tab on the homepage.
- Open the link for the Round 1 seat allotment result.
- Search for your name or NEET UG roll number in the list.
- Download the allotment letter and save a copy.

What Documents Are Required for Reporting?
Candidates must carry all original certificates and one set of self-attested copies. The documents required at PGIMS Rohtak include:
- Round 1 seat allotment letter downloaded from the portal.
- NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard.
- Class 10 certificate and mark sheet as proof of date of birth.
- Class 12 certificate and mark sheet.
- Passport-size photographs matching those uploaded with the application.
- A valid photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card.
- Category certificate for SC, BCA, BCB or EWS candidates.
- Creamy layer certificate for BCA and BCB candidates, issued after April 1, 2026.
- Provisional tuition fee payment receipt.

How to Pay the Provisional Tuition Fee?
The provisional tuition fee must be paid online through the counselling portal. Candidates must log in using their registered credentials and open the payment link. Available payment methods include net banking, debit card, credit card and UPI.
Failure to pay the fee by September 5, 2026, at 8:00 PM will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat. The seat will then be returned to the counselling pool.

What Options Do Candidates Have After Round 1?
Candidates have two main options after the Round 1 allotment:
- Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat should freeze the seat and complete the joining process by September 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
- Candidates seeking a better college or course can choose upgradation in Round 2.
Some private medical and dental colleges may offer direct admission outside this process. Such admissions are treated as null and void by DMER Haryana. Students must only accept seats allotted through the official counselling portal.
