Haryana Schools To Reopen From July 27; Universities And Colleges To Remain Closed Until July 31 

Haryana Schools will be reopening from July 27, 2020. The Higher Education Institutes in the state will remain closed until July 31, 2020

An official notification has been released stating, "The Directorate of School Education, Haryana declared summer vacation for all the schools from July 1, 2020 to July 26, 2020. Schools in the state will reopen from July 27, 2020, Monday."

The same was mentioned in the social media account of Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal. The summer vacation and reopening orders are also applicable for all the teachers and administrative staff.

Haryana Board is yet to conduct class 10 board exams for the science stream and the date for the same is expected to be out soon. The science paper will be conducted for those students who wish to pursue science in Class 11. 

The Haryana Government released these directions following the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines released on June 29, 2020, which states that schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed until July 31, 2020.

The Haryana government has already cancelled the intermediate level and final year exams in all the state universities and colleges following the COVID-19 increasing cases.

Haryana Higher Education Department has directed in a memo to all the educational institutions to remain closed till July 31, 2020. The memo also mentioned the continuation of e-learning for the students.
