NEW DELHI: Indira Gandhi National Open University is set to conduct a 2- Day Seminar on Innovations in ODL for Quality Education. The Seminar will showcase the experiences and innovative practices taken in the Online Distance Learning System.

The National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organize the National Seminar on October 14 and October 15, 2020.

The purpose of the seminar is to display the innovative practices in the ODL system. The Seminar caters the educational needs of the Latest Distant Learners.

The Seminar will have Seven Themes included relating to Curriculum Design and Study Material Development, Learner Support, Grievance Redressal, Online Learning, Counselling and Delivery of Instructions, E-Content Development and Assessment and Evaluation System.

During the Pandemic Situation, most of the Universities have opted for Online Learning. Also, the New Education Policy issued by the Government of India has changed the concept of Evaluation and Learning.

Renowned Distance Educational Institutes, researchers, teachers, IGNOU, State Open Universities, NIOS and Technical and Private Universities are looking forward to the Seminar of Innovation.

All the participants will organize the academic directives that explain the experiences and new-age practices for enhancing the Online Learning System. The themes will be discussed by the Educationists one by one.
