Who Can Fill Choices in Round 2?
Round 2 choice filling is meant for two groups of candidates. First, those who registered for Round 1 but did not get any seat. Second, those who received a Round 1 seat and want to try for a better option.
Candidates who wish to keep their Round 1 seat must have already selected the Freeze option. The Float choice window opened on July 2, 2026 for Round 1 allottees. Candidates who chose Float remain eligible for a possible upgrade in Round 2.

What Happens After Round 2 Seat Allotment?
The Round 2 seat allotment result will be available on the JEECUP portal on July 10, 2026. Allotted candidates will need to pay the seat acceptance fee online. They must then select the Freeze, Float or Withdraw option within the given window.
Freeze confirms the current seat and stops further upgrades. Float keeps the seat but allows an upgrade attempt in the next round. Document verification and reporting will follow as per the official schedule.
