The Kolhan University (KU), Chaibasa has reopened undergraduate admissions on the Chancellor Portal. The reopen notice covers the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) and UG Vocational courses for the 2026–30 session. Candidates can apply at universities.jharkhand.gov.in by July 26, 2026. The first merit list will follow on July 28, 2026.

What Is Kolhan University FYUGP?
FYUGP (Four-Year Undergraduate Programme) was rolled out under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Students receive multiple exit options during the course. The honours or research degree is awarded on full completion.
UG Vocational programmes are skill-focused undergraduate courses. They are offered at affiliated colleges of Kolhan University, Chaibasa.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Subject-wise eligibility is set by each affiliated college and department. Category-based reservation rules of the Jharkhand government apply for the seats.
