MY EXPERIENCE IN IITPATNA
REMARKS
College is just 10 years old, so much of scope for improvement in infrastructure and minds of the beaurocracy as well as teaching and non-teaching staff.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Feasible for post graduate studies.
PLACEMENT WING
Placement scenario is great for some selected department like Computer science, VLSI etc. About Others, no one gives attention. Other departments either don't have proper syllabus matching with industry requirements or world doesn't know that these Departments exist
ADMISSION
took GATE-2017 and got shortlisted for interview and then got selected in final merit list.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
Infrastucture was good.
ALUMNI
Alumni interactions are in very infant stages, there are not much involvment of alumnis.
FACULTY
Many of them are extraordinary researchers but not good teachers. Everyone is highly qualified with degrees in abroad but some of them behave like illiterate villagers lacking patience, maturity and low self esteem.
CAMPUS LIFE
Laboratory facilities are grear, sports facilities are also good, Extracurricular activities are not much supported by the institute, it merely looks like a time and money waste for the authorities.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
My Course curriculum of my Department was based on the what faculties know and areas they are working on. Doesn't matter if it matches with current industrial scenario or not, students get placed or not, companies come or not. Everyone is busy in increasing there publications.
COLLEGE EVENTS
Nebula- freshers, infinito-tech fest, sports fest, cultural fest- ANWESHA music and dance competitions Spicmacay events, Janmashtami, ganesh visarjan, Diwali Holi Inter IIT meets Sadbhavana diwas
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Don't know, post grads get stipend from MHRD.
