Commoditization can make higher education far more accessible for non-traditional students, but given the competition beginning to characterize the marketplace, it is becoming more difficult for students to determine which programs are right for them.
A student’s record in and outside the high school classroom demonstrates to an admissions officer the kind of contributions he or she will make at the college level. Colleges are looking for candidates who perform consistently well or show a record of improvement in rigorous or college-prep courses. This means the right coursework, good grades, and activities that have a positive impact should be a continuous focus throughout high school.
Yes One of the best ways to improve your chances of finding employment after graduation is to participate in an internship during your school years. You can gain hands-on experience in your chosen field, significantly increase your networking contacts, and learn how corporate cultures, environments, and structures work. However, it’s also important that you put in the effort to find the right internship for you.
Yeah it’s feasible. One feels the fee structure is a bit high. But it's quite reasonable as compared to the other E-school. The only good thing is that college has good placement assistance. Svce has good ROI.
There are many good scholarship / loan facility offered by college that you can avail. First is fee-Waiver in which you only need to pay bus fees. Second is there are government scholarship for OBC and sc st. And there is some concessions for general too.
No, i have not opted for Hostel and college doesn’t have the hostel facilities. But they have good canteen and cafeteria. Really good play ground for cricket and football, basketball have separate ground.
Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university.
I got admission in this college by competitive exam. I gave exam in 2012 and took admission for 2012-13 batch. Actually student’s record in and outside the high school classroom demonstrates to an admissions officer the kind of contributions he or she will make at the college level. Colleges are looking for candidates who perform consistently well or show a record of improvement in rigorous or college-prep courses. This means the right coursework, good grades, and activities that have a positive impact should be a continuous focus throughout high school.
LPU being a fairly new university has made their name in such a short time and the main reason being their good placement drives. Big companies like Amazon, Cognizant , Capgemini, TCS, Flipkart etc. have visited and selected from the university. The highest package offered have gone above 30 LPA . More than 40 companies have offered dream packages or so said. A great number of students opt for higher studies and get great jobs in companies like google , apple etc.
Since I am in first year so I can't tell anything by experience but I can list the things that I've read and heard. A lot of companies visit the campus and major placements are from the B.tech branch of CSE where 80% of students get placed and if you want a good package so make sure you've done the efforts to earn it from your side. If you've made so good efforts and made your time count in the university, there are higher chances of you bagging a good package.
As soon 4th semester starts, B.Tech students are eligible for placements and placements to start. 4th is more of placements rather than study. The highest package is 42 LPA, and for most, it is 7-8+ LPA. I plan to get a job after the degree.
Basically, you will get more placement opportunities for IT companies and they offer a decent package to students. Companies like Amazon and TCS also visit campus and take 5-10 students with an excellent package. But students must have good skills to get selected. The highest packages are offered by amazon on average 25 lakh. But you can get more good packages by applying off-campus placement drives. Other streams have very few placement opportunities as very few companies visit. So you must aim to get a good CGPA Of 8+ score so that you must be eligible to get eligible for every companies placement drive. If you have plans to go abroad for higher studies, you can avail this opportunity in LPU as many programs offer this service by going to partner universities of LPU in the respective country. So you must be aware of all the available opportunities on the campus to have a good carrier.
Here a total of 800 students per year & about 450 students gets college campus placement. Or no. Getting a job in the armed force or other gov. Jobs. Upto 65 companies visit. Here like Infosys, coca cola, Amazon, hero, Tata, Mahindra, etc. 55% of students get placement.
Placement rates are very good highest placement provided was of 42 lpa and 39 lpa. Generally, 89% of students get placed from this branch. The number of students is fairly high in each branch but then also the university doesn't disappoint in providing placement to a maximum number of students.
I have lived there for Four years and i am proud of my decision to choose LPU. There is nothing to regret about. All i can say is everything is fine. Infrastructure of the college is exceptionally beautiful and mind blowing. Faculties, senior students all are really helpful.
Everthing is good except the staff. The staff should be well educated. And tge students should have the right to wether come to college and wether not means the 75% attendance rule should be changed.
