It’s a good college will almost all the facilities provided and even considering type of placements and internships students are going to get. One negative remark will be on Boys hostel. I know it’s a old structure but can make efforts to renovate as it’s a Govt owned college.
Curriculum includes most of the subjects/courses that are cover in IlM’s including case studies and in final year students will get to choose the optional courses available based on their interest. As it is a trimester system, three exams will be conducted in a year where students have to score minimum marks to get passing grade. Till now VAMNICOM is providing 100% placements. Even students can choose from many different sectors to join. I think it’s quite feasible compared to other colleges. Total fee will be ? 650000/- for two years and will be paisley in three terms every two years( total of six payments) or you can pay one year fee at once. This fee doesn’t include your food expenses provided in hostel.
Only Maharashtra students will get the scholarships based on their selection criteria. (caste and income ). College will make arrangements for few of the well known banks around the premises for lecture on student loans and the interest rates. Students who are willing to opt can choose any of the bank and complete the formalities.
There will not be any lab activities. Instead there will be Study visits to different locations in and around Maharashtra and even other states based on the courses. And there is no outdoor ground owned by the college and there are facilities for indoor games like badminton and table tennis.
Yes, I was staying at College Hostel. It is old structure ( Boys Hostel). They will allocate two students per room with two almirahs and the hostel is provided with internet facility. Hostel has one TV and around 5 newspapers will be made available at the hostel and of course food.
Of course any alumni network will be very helpful. VAMNICOM have a very good alumni network and they conduct a event/program every year by calling its alumni’ for the interaction with students. Taking my Instance, with the help of an alumni I was able to get the internship at NITI Aayog. And I feel it was worth and I’m really proud of completing my internship there without stipend.

Your final recruitment will start from the start of your third semester. You are eligible to join the company after the sem 3 exams. During my batch approx 250 companies visited the campus for all 5 specializations. The highest package was 14.5L and the average was 6.5L-7L. 95% of placements were done in college. I had joined Amul as I wanted the FMCG industry.

In the 2nd year of the 3rd Semester placement process start and the company coming from August mid. there is scop in all the sectors like banking-ICICI, IDFC, etc. For FMCG ITC, KHIMJI RAMDAS, REAL ESTATE LODHA BUILDERS. In short, every sector company is coming to the campus for placement. AVERAGE CTC is 6.5 lakh hight heard 50 lakh but the good package is given by many companies around 7 to 9 lakh also there. last year97 -98 % students paced. Placement is the main reason everybody pursues MBA, same is the reason with me. Placements of our are very good. The average package of my seniors was 10.7 LPA. All the students get equal opportunity to get placed rest is up to the student to find a good job role and a good pkg from a company. Companies from all over India come to recruit students like Deloitte, EY, Hdfc bank, axis bank etc.
I qualified my CAT exam and cleared my exam through applying online and after gaining a proper merit I finally enrolled myself for the MBA programme. The admission to this college was indeed my dream as the college had a good reputation among various organisations and was good with the academics.
The placement and the internship policy were amazing and most of the time we were given permission to sit for the off campus placement although the on campus placement use to happen with full hype. Companies like HDFC, TATA consultancy services, Infosys and Airtel recruit us with good salary package.
I had passed CET to be eligible for admission to this course. Then I gave the GD PI round for securing admission.
Many small-time companies come for campus placements. You will most definitely manage to get a good job on your on too. In the past, some big brands have also come for recruitments. Best thing is to reach out to companies that are nearby in Hinjewadi. If selected, then you can easily go for the interview in their office.
The college accepts MAT, CAT and XAT scores. You have to apply on their website for admission. If you are selected, then you are invited for the admission counselling session which has the GD/PI round. I got selected through this procedure.
Since the college is in Hinjewadi, many colleges do come for placements. Many students do get placements but the placement record of the college is not very strong. Many candidates get jobs on their own.
I had passed CAT. College takes applications online for admission. I got selected through interview and group discussion round.
Placement cell is little bit active. Good companies do come for placements. Many of my friends got good jobs. I got a job on my own.
The college accepts MAT, XAT, CAT scores. I had given CAT. They have had GD PI like other colleages for selection process.
There were many campus placements. Companies like India Infoline, Cipla, AVIVA, ANI, Airtel and ITC do placements here. Other companies also come for placement.
The college is excellent given the amenities, fee structure and the placement history taken into consideration. The exam structure, distribution of marks and the faculty is also praise worthy. Internship oppurtunities was however limited and hence of the area the college needs to work on. Overall a quite satifying and memorable experience for the 2 years spent and making my money's worth.
