It is a great residential college and truly imbibe culture of engineering and Well as overall development of individual. Also student power is incomparable as compared to other engineering colleges. Rich alumni network is also a plus.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
It is feasible as per facilities provided by IIT campus. Semester fees is around 1,24,000 and total annual fees amounts upto 2,48,000. The facilities provided here are excellent as compared to facilitaties being provided in the campus
PLACEMENT WING
Placement stats are great at IITK. Around 80% of the students who appear for placement gets placed with good packages. Yes college provide internship opportunity with around 100+ companies visiting the campus for internship. Stipend depends upon the profile of internship and skills required in that internship.
ADMISSION
By clearing JEE mains and then appearing in JEE ADVANCED, then through counselling we get admission in IIT Kanpur. It is followed by week long counselling session in IIT kanpur organized by CS core team.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
I am currently hall 12 resident in IITK which is one of the best hostels in terms of infrastructure and facilities. Equipped with spacious rooms and good quality facilities like canteen and messes along with lift the quality of hostel is on par with world class dorms.
ALUMNI
Alumni network is very strong here at IITK. Most of the alumni are placed at various top positions in multinationals and also in as diverse fields as several being IAS also.senior students are always ready to help as ragging is reduced to minimal in campus
FACULTY
Most of the faculty of our college are top class with them being pioneer in their research fields. They also design the course structure in such a way that it is easier for student to grasp the course material.
CAMPUS LIFE
Lab facilities at IITK are world-class, since advanced research works are taken up by faculties at IITK , so labs are also world class. Also we have well equipped sports centre along with two cricket fields,football fields ,hockey fields along with facilities for all indoor and outdoor games.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Our current course curriculum is based on some department courses, and some inter department courses. Courses are usually subjective in nature and exams are also subjective in nature. It depends on the professor whether he wants to take exam open book or not.
COLLEGE EVENTS
There are three major student festivals celebrated in IITK:- 1) Udghosh:- annual sports fest of IITK 2) ANTARAGNI:- Annual cultural fest of IITK 3) TECHKRITI:- annual technical fest of IITK. Among these various cultural festivals are also celebrated
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Yes student loans are provided by various banks here along with0% interest. Also around 100+ scholarship are provided by IIT adminstration to the deserving students who come from background having limited means of income.
