    REMARKS

It's a art field not like other fields here you will get all facilities every times is not real but it's doesn't affect your study or progress as if you are going to become an artist you need to improve yourself on your own hardwork and dedication yeah bu

  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

I took CET for BFA applied arts. I have chosen Applied arts from other courses over there because I wanted to make my career in advertising and film making.

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

Its really cheap as its government college. You just need to crack the entrance exam which is the toughest part. For general category its 1500 and lower than that as per cast per year and hostel fees are 500 max per year. Exam fees are like 200-300 for final exams.

    HOSTEL FACILITIES

Its really good in terms of hostel. As its located in Banda East, near from station and in 25 min you can be at Cst station which is exactly in front of College. There 3 students in each room but rooms are too big that even 4 students can share it 24 hrs w

  • ALUMNI

It's totally self developed self drawn self progressed world and field it's totally depends upon you how you interact with ppl around in college, with seniors, teachers to make good relation with them for your future career. Everybody is always ready here. To share their ideas or to take yours too. Afterall it's all network and team work in case of art.

    FACULTY

It was really good. I have got all my skills and help at every moment from the teachers over there. It has pro industry standard staff with every solution for the student to make them future great artist.

  • 9 /10Ratings

    CAMPUS LIFE

It's near about 50-50 ratio of boys and girls in each year. There are lot of workshops which get held in college for students for their knowledge for the future by lot of professionals artist and people. There is not bad stuff regarding cast, religion etc. amount the students as all students are there as an artist and these things doesn't exist in the world of art.

  • EXAM STRUCTURE

Its very simple as its art college you just need to draw and think and make visuals on the topic given to you during exams in limited time given to you to complete it.

  • 9 /10Ratings

    INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

It doesn't offer you any ineternship or stipend as its art based college. It's art world you need to build contacts for the future on your own and your work status and talent.

  • 9 /10Ratings

    COLLEGE EVENTS

It's really big in terms of event world. As lot of ad and film industry people come to visit the socials and gathering events. It's really good opportunities for the student to make impact on them through the performances to make career in future.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

There is such facility. I never heard about it. Its already so much low and cheap in terms of fees hostel charges so after that student don't need to get loan for it even if someone so much poor.

A good college to start a great journey

Remarks -

The college has been able to keep up the reputation throughout several years because of its governing body. The college provides you quality education as well as endless opportunities. There are some restrictive rules that probably won't make much sense, overall the college is good.

Entrance Preview -

Since St.xavier's is an autonomous college, the syllabi and exams are set by our own professors who understand the level of competition as well as the capacity of the students. I opted for this college because of the intellectual freedom it provided and not being bound by many university rules, the students are at a major advantage. Also being a Jesuit Institute, the college reinforces social involvement programs which are a great plus.

A College For All

Remarks -

All in all, like every college Ruia, has its pros and cons. There are many areas where the college could stand to make improvements such as the conditions of various classes that are in dire need of an update. The college could also get in touch with modern technology that could help students study. But when measured out against other colleges the college definitely has an upper hand.

Authentically crazy.

Placement -

The college has shaken hands with big associates and thus provides a wider scope to its students.

Course Curriculum -

The course I chose was BA which stands for Bachelor of Arts. And Arts itself is very resourceful and innovative criteria for any students. It deals with everything that is in and around you, and since you can relate to the quickest, so learning fun doubles. It deals with a fullsome bundle of subjects like Economics, Political science, History, English, Regional languages, Anthropology, Sociology and many more. The course has light weighing projects and involves much of a group thing.

Three Years of Hard Work

Remarks -

The college management is quite helpful but to do the day to day dealing, a little Marathi can help speed things up at the lower level. The college is very strict and thoroughly prepares us for the media life ahead. Anybody wanting to do Mass Communication just as a backup should refrain from attending this college. The attendance requirement is strictly maintained at 90% and what we wear to college is strictly regulated. This will be a roller coaster ride. Fun or not depends on what you do.

I always wanted to study media/films and at the undergraduate level, SIMC-UG was the best choice any day. In fact, I didn't fill any other form. I appeared for SET back in 2010 and scored 102/150. Nowadays, 102 may just make you cross the cutoffs but back then my rank among the SIMC-UG applicants was 30. Later we had a GD/PI round along with written assessment.
