The infrastructure of our college is good, we have a library full of books, computer labs, nice classrooms, etc and I had a lot of fun with my friends and classmate. The campus life is also good. The faculties were also very helpful and good.
Our college offered a dual specialized area. We studied general management syllabus in the first and second semesters and from the 3rd semester, we are offered specialized areas in Sales and Marketing, Entrepreneurship and innovation, Business innovation and Strategy, Media and communication, and Banking and Financial Services.
The placement in our college is an average. The placement cell in our college works hard and invites companies for placing the students. Companies like Nissan, TCS, Godrej, Bajaj, etc visited our college. Out of 500 students 100 students got placed.
Our college offers scholarships to weak students and to the meritorious students. Some of the students avail scholarships of Rs.20000 per semester. I think also give some kind of reduction to the students who belong to ST/SC category.
The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The facilities provided are also good like, beds, wifi, drinking water, etc were all average. Staying in the hostel is very convenient for the students who came from out of state.
I registered online and then took the entrance exam of ACET and after a few days my application was shortlisted and I was called for an interview. I chose the MBA course because I want to learn about management.
I think that the faculties are good at teaching and explain well in the class. They are qualified enough and some of them are very friendly to us. We can always count on them whenever we have any doubts.
I personally never opted for campus placements however the offerings and the companies reaching out to the college offer better services and opportunities to the students further can get options and have seen students getting packages of 10 lacks+.
Highest package - 15 lakhs Average - 6-7 lakhs The placements are good compared to ROI Also, companies like Deloitte, crisil, icici, torrent, orient, KPMG, sbi life, Tata AIG, bain and company are regular recruiters.90 percent of students have been placed till now.

There are many top colleges in Mumbai for management studies, and NITIE Mumbai is one of them. I applied for NITIE Mumbai PGDIM admission mainly because of its top rankings among IIMs, and affordable college fee. The admission of the college begins in the month of March and April.
I applied for the NITIE Mumbai PGDIM admission at the start of my academic year, and was called for further admission process based on my CAT score. The final admissions eats were later alotted to me based on my overall admission round score.
The Institute is ranked #12 by NIRF in management rankings all over India. NITIE, Mumbai is an institution often compared to Institutes like IITs of our country. The flagship course of the Institute is PGDIM. Admissions to the program are provided on basis of the CAT Scores of the Candidates followed by PI . Final Selection is done on basis of the overall performance in all these Rounds.
NITIE, Mumbai do the final selection of Students on basis of the Overall Performance in various rounds. Some of the applied Candidates get shortlisted on basis of their CAT Score ,who are then called for Personal Interview. In the PI Round , thinking & mental ability of Candidates is checked through various ways.Final Selection for Admissions is Done on basis of the Overall Performance.
NITIE Mumbai was my first choice for post graduate program because of its excellent placement opportunities and on campus placement drive. The college have the best education facilities, and faculty members, who are always there to help you out with your queries. The only negative point of the college is less diversity, and competition for placement on campus between students.
NITIE Admission process is very structured, and simple; First you have to appear for the qualifying entrance examination, and according to marks secured, you will be called for an interview round. The final addmission seats will be alloted to students on the basis of overall addmission score.
Good: Excellent in terms of Placement records, Providing World class management education, Versatile Faculties, Enriching Peer Learning Experience. Bad: Competency, Pressures, and internet issues. Admission process: based on the marks secured in CAT/GMAT followed by Group Discussions and Personal Interview conducted by the institute.
The personal interview process is conducted after the group discussions and only those who are shortlisted in GD are asked to appear for PI. Several questions related to current affairs, budget, personal interests, and Indian management services are asked. Students are required to be attentive to the questions qs they're not repeated again.
