NIBM, Pune
NIBM REVIEW
REMARKS
I very much enjoyed my stay at the college, especially the hostel life was the most fun. We learned a lot from our faculty and the course itself. Currently I am employed at an brokerage firm as a business development manager and it won't have been possible without the assistance of my college and their valuable advice.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Our course fee was very expensive, at least for me personally. We have to pay around 6 lacs annually, thus our total course fee was 12 lacs. We learned a lot from the course structure, but still the fee should be less or at least there should be some decent scholarships for students.
PLACEMENT WING
Placements are pretty great and significant especially in the banking sector. We learned a lot during the 2-month internship which was mandatory for everyone. Some students of our batch did internship from RBI itself. Many companies from the banking sector visits our campus for on-campus placements. The highest package secured by a student from our batch was 14 LPA and the average package was 6 LPA.
ADMISSION
My admission was done on the basis of written ability test and personal interview conducted by the Institute itself. I applied at the college with my MAT scores and other academic details. It was a straightforward application. Entire admission process went pretty smoothly.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
Separate hostels for boys and girls are available at pretty reasonable prices. Students can avail of the hostels by filling the form during the admission process. Rooms were pretty spacious and washrooms were common, yet hygienic. Hostels were present in the close proximity of the college.
FACULTY
Faculty was very qualified and experienced. They all were very helpful, especially in terms of explaining a topic with real life examples. Overall, the personal experience they shared with us was the most valuable asset of this course.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Course curriculum was pretty decent and detailed. We learned about different aspects of the corporate in brief, but our detailed area of concern was banking and financial services. I had an interest in the BFSI sector and this particular course gave me an extra edge over other aspirants in this domain.
