The course curriculum is prescribed by the IIM - Ahmadabad, which is the top IIM body amongst the management colleges in the country. The course was more oriented towards the case study analysis and their relatability to the practical world. SIP was one of the crucial parts of our course structure, especially when job interview revolves around the project.
Placements in our institute are the best in the industry. Most of the students are hired for the consultancy profile. Apart from that, there are some other top brands that frequently visit our campus to recruit students for a number of profiles. The average package was somewhere around 9 LPA, which is pretty good. Though the highest package goes as high as 23 LPA.
My first-year annual fee was a little over 7 lacs, whereas for the last two semesters I paid little under 6,92,000 lacs. So in total, I paid 13 lacs for the entire course which is comparatively less than other IIMs. Especially, if you see it from the ROI perspective, you know its a steal deal.
The hostel rooms were spacious. Hostel rooms had sufficient space and ventilation. Rooms were available on double sharing basis. The hostel was a perfect simulator for interaction between like-minded people and for late night study groups. Mess food was also good.
IIMs are a closely-knit family and had a pretty strong alumni network. Many alumni are invited by the institute in order to share their journey and personal experiences after their life in IIM. They even interacted with us, and answered some of our personal queries. It was a fun and enlightening session.
Admission to the PGP program of IIM - Raipur was on the basis of the CAT entrance exam. Cut-off for which go as high as 98 %ile. Followed by the cat exam students have to appear for the common counselling process. My counseling round was pretty intense and I was very nervous. But thankfully all went well and handled the interview round pretty decently.
The faculty is very much qualified and consists of some of the best industry specialists who has an ample amount of experience in their respective field. They shared their personal experiences with us in order to give us a hands-on experience for our course structure.

Admission to the college is on a merit basis. I gave the entrance exam. Students have to apply to the college and appear for the counseling and document verification process. Management was pretty accommodating throughout the process.
Placements were not so good in our college and almost 60% of our batch got placed. We received enough assistance from the placement cell. Some good companies do visit our campus for the placement drive but the packages offered were not that good. Some of my batchmates were offered 20,000 per month.
I appeared for the entrance exam organised by the University itself. The entrance exam was very tricky and had questions from various topics. On the basis of entrance scores and academic record of the applicants, a merit list is prepared and shortlisted students are invited for the counselling round.
Around 70% of the students got placed during my batch. We had a dedicated placement cell which took care of maintaining tie-ups with the big media firms. Though the packages offered were not as good as one would expect after an MBA degree.
