My journey with the NITIE college was a roller coaster ride. I learned a lot and at the same time had a lot of fun. Our college was pretty supportive of us and guided us for the job prospects and helped us in getting placed. Infrastructure was reluctantly great and the faculty was pretty thorough in their approach.
The course curriculum was pretty thorough and covered topics from a variety of topics. We learned a lot from the curriculum including funds management, consumer behavior, legal aspects of running a business, marketing tricks, and many other fun things. But my specialization was manufacturing management, which includes studying topics related to inventory, managing a project and manpower, the challenges faced by this particular sector, etc.
Placements are okayish in our college, but our placement cell organizes numerous training and skill development sessions for students. Mock interview sessions were also pretty helpful. The average monthly salary offered to the students was somewhere around 30-40k which was not that bad. The highest package was 70k per month. Students with good communication skills got placed easily, while some had to look for the job on their own.
Our college was a hub for many management events and cultural fests. ConsulTalk was one such event organized specifically for the management students. Freshers and farewell party was another fun event. My freshers' party went pretty well, but the farewell was not that much fun.
The fee structure was very nominal with respect to other management programs. I paid INR 300,000 per semester which was feasible especially for a management program. Students are provided a decent infrastructure and state of the art facilities, to make students feel comfortable.
I stayed in the Taylor Hall Hostel which is a 16-storey hostel building. Hostel rooms are spacious and special attention is paid towards cleanliness. There are many recreational facilities as well as a gymnasium hall. Mess food was great. I made lot of friends in the hostel. Overall, my stay at the hostel was very much accommodating.
Admissions are done on the basis of merit in the entrance exam. I applied with the MAT entrance exam and applied to some of the decent colleges near my hometown. My application got shortlisted for the counseling round and there on it was a pretty smooth process. This particular college, being closer to my house, was my ultimate choice.
Our faculty was pretty much friendly and supportive throughout the curriculum. They were more like our mentor, who not only taught us about the curriculum but guided us regarding our career choices. They pushed us for giving presentations in front of the class, which was scary in the beginning but eventually end up boosting my confidence.
The placement of NITIE is 100%. Each and every student get placed here with a good package. The student has to align skills according to the company he/she wants. College provides a senior as a buddy which helps us in our communication skill and organizes various skill development sessions. The highest salary was 27.78 lakh, the average salary was 17.01 lakh in 2019.
The intake and placement of college. The faculties are very knowledgeable and experienced. The facilities they provided and the most important thing they'll provide us many opportunities. Teachers are very friendly in nature. Seniors are very good in nature they'll treat us as their younger one's and support us.
The placement is very good there are numbers of companies visited in our campus for placement. All the companies are reputed and provide us good package.
The college is good with rich and diverse heritage the infrastructure is not good the placement are decent. The education is good. The major advantage to choose IMDR is the ROI its best in pune
I got admission in imdr through Mba-cet examination. I opted for the course because I want to become a hr manager. I chose this college because the return on investment i.e ROI is the best in Pune you are getting pgdm in 4lac only which is remarkable. secondly the rich and old heritage of DES society which dates back to 1880 and IMDR itself is the oldest b school in pune established in 1974. The admission process is very simple you have appeare for any of the Mba entrance examination. IMDR accepts CAT,ATMA,MBA CET,MAT. You must appaer for any of the above entrance examination. Apart from this IMDR conducts personal interview and group activity once you clear it you are selected for the course.
In a nutshell, the school has a different and unique campus life.
College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
