    CAMPUS LIFE

MBA DONE RIGHT

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

Our fee structure was on the higher side, but the facilities and amenities provided were mostly good. For the first year, I paid INR 5,40,000 while for the second year, I paid 3.4 lacs. The classrooms and canteen of the college are average. The library of the college is good. The college has good labs, auditorium, free wi-fi, etc. and other above par amenities would justify the fee.

    PLACEMENT WING

Placements are great here in our college. The college has close tie-ups with both government and private institutes and annually invites these organizations for on-campus placement drive. Companies that visited during my batch were Fortis, Max, NHM, etc. During these placements, students stand to secure a placement package of around 6 LPA on average, while some even secured a package as high as 13 LPA.

  • ADMISSION

My admission was done on the basis of MAT score. Though the cutoff for MAT was pretty high, my score was comparatively good. There are just a few good colleges in the region which offers an industry-oriented MBA program and IIHMR University is one of them. The entire admission process is pretty exhaustive since there are a number of factors which account for the final merit list.

  • ALUMNI

Many alumni visit our campus for multiple reasons. It started with our batch in 2019 when Jaipur and Bangalore campus organized the alumni meet. Some alumni visit to be the judge in an event/competition, while some share their personal journey to motivate students. One frequent agenda of alumni meet is to provide a platform for the exchange of thoughts among the students and alumni.

    FACULTY

Our faculty was very qualified and had a plethora of expertise in the field of teaching. They made learning pretty much fun, especially with the live examples and personal experiences they shared. My favorite sessions were case study discussions and guest lectures. All of our faculty members were very supportive and accommodating.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

The course structure is prescribed by the IIHMR University itself, thus it was highly customized as per the latest market trends and it was good. It was informative and customized as per the need of rapidly growing and robust Healthcare Industry. Class notes are sufficient enough to get through the exam, otherwise, we were also able to procured notes from our seniors.

My MBA course review

Remarks -

As far as my opinion is considered, there are no cons to this institute. Rather, if you join it, you will have plenty of memories while leaving this place and also you will come out as a better person and ready to face the world as it comes. Not to mention the professional benefits of joining the institute.

My journey with IIIM

Placement -

Our institute had tie-ups with many big brands from the media industry like Amazon, TCS, Dell, etc. Many events and practical workshops are organized in collaboration with these entities and the students ultimately stand a chance to get a placement in these companies at a decent package.

Remarks -

College lacks in infrastructure its good but it would have been better . College is good overall and no issues are there regarding anything . Classroom timings are from 9 to 9 so its difficult for a student to adjust to it at first but after sometime student also gets into the environment .

A three year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University with 70% marks equivalent CGPA. so, i ot admission through merit basis.

Internship -

Internships are a neccesary part of the curriculum and one has to undergo a 6 months training to understand the industry to its core and to gain work experience before even getting into the outer world so that it gives you and edge but the college doesn't provide apt internship offers. only a handful of students get the internships through college internship drive which is not good and helping at all.
