PGPM was a full-time 2-year course and the course curriculum has good exposure, it is in tune with the requirements of the industries. The course involves industrial visits, case studies, role plays, business games, etc. The exams were held every semester.
The placement opportunity in our college was good. 100% of the students were placed. The highest salary package was around Rs.50 LPA and the average salary was around Rs.20 LPA. Our college also provides internships for and I received a stipend of about Rs. 10K.
Our college is one the best college when it comes to events, we have an annual cultural fest named "Unmaad", which was huge. We also have an annual business named "Vista" and "Eximius" an entrepreneurship fest.
The college offers a various scholarships scheme for the students. They offered merit-based scholarships to meritorious students, scholarships for financially weak students. Jindal scholarships, Aditya Birla scholarships, etc. They also offered loan facilities too.
We have a total of 16 hostel blocks in our college and the hostel's rooms were well furnished and well-maintained. Single rooms were made available for the students( Boys and Girls). The total fees cost in a year was around Rs.1.61 LPA to Rs.2.76 LPA.
To get admission in this college, I took the CAT entrance exam and score valid marks of 94%. Then, I registered and fill out the form online. After a few days, my application was shortlisted and then, I took the WAT ( written aptitude test) and lastly, a personal interview.
The faculty members of our college were the best. We have a total of more than 100 core faculties in our college. They were all highly qualified in their own field of education. They are the reason why I chose to study in this college.
NMIMS Bangalore ensures that all the students get their final placements and internships from the college. The placement committee ensures that there are several companies for each specialization and offering all the different job roles available. The process usually starts from August-September. We have companies like Dell, Britannia, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Infosys, etc.
In terms of placements, NMIMS Bangalore is true to its word. Even when big brands were facing the heat of the global pandemic and its after-effects, our college did a commendable job in getting the students placed.
We have 100% placements and talking about the marketing domain, a lot of opportunities are floated making sure everyone is placed. There are several FMCG and IT giants like Dell, Britannia, MTR, Accenture to name a few who visit our campus and hire extensively.
Summer placement occur from trim 2. Final placement starts form trim 4. Companies from across all domains come to the college for placement. We have Dell, Marsh, MTR, VMWARE etc coming to the campus for placement. Almost 90 percent of the students are placed during the season.
My admission to the PGDM program of ISBR is done on the basis of the NMAT entrance exam. The cut-off for during my batch went as high as 110. Followed by the NMAT exam students have to appear for the counseling process which consisted of aptitude test and interview round. My counseling round was pretty intense and I was very nervous. But thankfully all went well and handled the interview round pretty decently.
Placements in our institute are the best in the industry. Apart from that, there are some other top brands that frequently visit our campus to recruit students for a number of different profiles. Most of the hiring have been in the field of Marketing and HR. The average package was somewhere around 3 LPA, which was okay.
My admission was based on the entrance exam of CAT. I have a score of 74% and was eligible for admission. I fill out the form online and got a call for a personal interview. I went through the interview and then, finally, my admission was granted.
The placement cell works efficiently to place 100% of students and the placement in our school is very good. Companies like Aditya Birla Group, Yes Bank, Deloitte, etc. visited our college. The highest salary package offered is Rs.20 LPA and the average is around Rs.6 LPA.
My college was nice and I enjoyed each and every year with full enthusiasm as well as happiness. Apart from this, I was happy that I was indulged with so many works as well as professional attributes giving me good exposure as well as experience.
