COLLEGE REVIEW

    REMARKS

My MBA program was one of the finest programs offered by our institute at such an economical price. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people. Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

My total course fee was around 1.6 LPA only, which was to be paid on a semester basis. This fee included registration fee, examination fee, caution fee, tuition fee, etc. The fee structure was pretty feasible for me and the facilities they provided us were exceptional.

    PLACEMENT WING

Our college has an impeccable placement record. On top of that, they offer personality development sessions in order to prepare the students for the recruitment rounds. From my batch, 70% of the students were placed. Some also went for their own ventures or to join their family business. But still, there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of placement packages. I, along with one of my friends, got into Deloitte with a decent package.

  • ADMISSION

The entire admission process is pretty direct. I applied to the college via online mode. My MAT scores were pretty good and uploaded the documents with my application. The next step in the selection process was the counseling round conducted by DTE. Overall it went well and I was granted admission.

    HOSTEL FACILITIES

Our institute offers separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls and that too at pretty nominal charges. Rooms were available on a double sharing basis and they had regular connectivity of water, wi-fi, and electricity. Our stay was pretty comfortable at the hostel. I made a lot of friends and created some of the best memories of my life.

    FACULTY

All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and supportive. They all had a plethora of corporate experience under their belt. Especially the financial management faculty was very much talented and they prepared us to extract useful data from a large set of data. Faculty to student ratio was only around 1:15, which enabled the professors to allocate adequate time to each student.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Our course curriculum was pretty thorough and informative. It was a treat for inquisitive students to understand the corporate working model with the right context and live examples. We got to learn about managerial concepts, quantitative techniques, and decision making among others. Our final CGPA was calculated on the basis of internal assessments, external exams, summer Internship reports, and dissertations.

Placement -

For summer placements, students get placed in the first semester itself. The students are placed before completion of the first semester, and the actual summer internships are from April to May and even June for people with 3 months of internships. The highest stipend for two months is Rs. 3.2 lakhs and the average stipend is more than Rs. 2 lakhs for two months. The final placements generally begin in the third semester. The highest package for the batch of 2020 was Rs. 32.8 lakhs CTC and avg. was Rs. 21 lakhs CTC. The placements are 100 percent in summers and finals as every student gets a job in a well-reputed firm. The companies' profiles vary right from the core supply chain to IT con...

The placements are really great. both the on-campus and pool campus drives are organized by the institute. Entrepreneurship is yet another option after the MBA as the institute have its own Entrepreneurship development cell.

Think before you take admission in ibs mumbai

Placement -

The college placement is worst. They will show that they get 99% placement every year but in reality it is not at all. The jobs are just sales and nothing else. Which students can get after graduation as well. The college will show that the highest package is 10 lakh but it is just fake and nothing else. If you are taking addmission accept the fact that you are just going for time pass and in return you gonna get nothing in hand just depression and losse confidence of getting nothing and Wasting time.

Course Curriculum -

Our course structure is prescribed by the SPPU university and it was good. It was informative and customized as per the need of rapidly growing and robust Indian market place. Class notes are sufficient enough to get through the exam, otherwise, we also procured notes from our seniors.

Remarks -

It’s a good college will almost all the facilities provided and even considering type of placements and internships students are going to get. One negative remark will be on Boys hostel. I know it’s a old structure but can make efforts to renovate as it’s a Govt owned college.

For admission into this college, the requirements were to have passed graduation (any stream) from the recognized university., I scored 80.25% in my graduation. The reason for choosing this college was the unique learning environment.

Course Curriculum -

The focus on research in not yet there to compete with the major colleges but it's definitely improving every day. The college being affiliated to the university of Pune has good course structure and overall the way of teaching is more practical oriented too.
