Overall infra of the college was pretty good. The entire campus is pretty accommodating. We have a lot of good moments right there in the campus. The college has a dedicated placement cell and an experienced pool of faculty members. I would definitely recommend this college for a fun infused learning experience.
Our course curriculum was carefully curated. For the first two semesters, we focused on all the disciplines and at the beginning of the third sem. we opted for the specialization. A mandatory summer internship and a dissertation in the final semester was also part of our curriculum.
Placements are pretty decent on our campus. The placement cell organizes guest lectures, seminars, placement drives, etc. Though many good companies come to our campus for the recruitment process, still there is a huge gap between the highest package and average package. Only a handful of students were able to secure a package above 10 LPA. I myself got placed in HDFC.
My total course fee was around 9 lacs, which is feasible. This fee covered my tuition fee, examination fee, registration fee, etc. We are supposed to pay the fee on a biannual basis, which is a good thing. Day to day expenses was also pretty nominal.
College provides us a pretty awesome infrastructure and ambiance. Overall the surroundings are pretty beautiful and one of the most picturesque scenery. Sports activities include basketball, football, cricket. For which proper sports field and appropriate sports gears are provided by the college. Location is pretty awesome since the college is located in the heart of the city, Wilson Garden or Bengaluru technology hub, Electronics city.
My admission was done on the basis of my KMAT exam. My exam score was pretty decent, that's why I was invited for the next round. Shortlisted students have to appear for the aptitude test organized by ISBR. The next step would be a presentation followed by an interview round. The interview round was pretty rigorous. There was a panel of three faculty members, who grilled me on different fronts.
ISBR college has an awesome pool of faculty members, with industry experience of more than 10 years. The mode of teaching consisted of the use of ppts, assignments, etc. Our faculty was pretty supportive and friendly to us. We shared a pretty good bond with them. Especially the marketing faculty, which mostly assisted on the numerous field trips.
NMIMS Bangalore ensures that all the students get their final placements and internships from the college. The placement committee ensures that there are several companies for each specialization and offering all the different job roles available. The process usually starts from August-September. We have companies like Dell, Britannia, ICICI Bank, Accenture, Infosys, etc.
We have 100% placements and talking about the marketing domain, a lot of opportunities are floated making sure everyone is placed. There are several FMCG and IT giants like Dell, Britannia, MTR, Accenture to name a few who visit our campus and hire extensively.
Summer placement occur from trim 2. Final placement starts form trim 4. Companies from across all domains come to the college for placement. We have Dell, Marsh, MTR, VMWARE etc coming to the campus for placement. Almost 90 percent of the students are placed during the season.
From 3rd semester Students are eligible for campus placements. Aditya Birla Company, Tata sony lite, HDFC Bank, Reliance, Axis Bank, Bajaj finance, etc, Highest Domestic Package 24 LPA, International package 63.6 LPA, Average/Lowest 6.5 LPA. 100% of students getting placements. Build my own business.
Good is like all the faculty members are supportive which only requires for a student but bad is the toilet was not so cleaned.
My admission to the PGDM program of ISBR is done on the basis of the NMAT entrance exam. The cut-off for during my batch went as high as 110. Followed by the NMAT exam students have to appear for the counseling process which consisted of aptitude test and interview round. My counseling round was pretty intense and I was very nervous. But thankfully all went well and handled the interview round pretty decently.
Placements in our institute are the best in the industry. Apart from that, there are some other top brands that frequently visit our campus to recruit students for a number of different profiles. Most of the hiring have been in the field of Marketing and HR. The average package was somewhere around 3 LPA, which was okay.
Yes I always consider the positive remarks of my college as all the rules and regulations of the college is kept for us by making us habituated to work in corporate world. We should always follow the words of teachers and we should analysis why we are here and what is purpose of getting admission in this college then only we can excel in our life.
