The PGDM course was a full-time course of 2-year duration spread over 6 trimesters. The course curriculum of our college includes case studies, live projects, etc. Also, the exams were conducted at the end of every trimester.
Around 90% of the students were placed and a number of leading companies like Asian Paints, Deloitte, Genpact, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Amazon, etc, were some of our recruiting companies.
Many exciting and fun events were celebrated in our college and one of the biggest fests was the ABHUDAYA fest. It was an annual college fest in which other colleges were invited. Performance by a celebrity and different types of competitions were also organized in this event.
The fees for our college was not so expensive and not so cheap. The total fee for the course was ?8.45 Lakhs. And the total fee for the first year was ?425000 Lakhs and ?420000 Lakhs for the second year.
I opted for the hostel while I was studying at this college. They provide double-occupancy rooms( non-AC rooms) for Rs. 70000 per annum and double-occupancy ( Ac-rooms) for Rs. 90000. The facilities like wifi, gym, furnished room, etc were provided.
Students who have completed Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission. I have scored 68% in my graduation and I also took the CAT entrance exam, went through a group discussion and personal interview.
The faculty members of our college were very good at teaching, the class lectures were impressive. They always come prepared for the class lectures and they will repeat the explanation until our doubts were clear.
The Management group at BITS, Pilani was established in the year 1971. The institute has been creating impactful leaders since then. For admission, candidates have to appear in Business Analytics Admission Test(BAAT). The shortlisted candidates are then called for personal interviews.
For the batch 2018-2020 average CTC was 9.17 LPA and highest CTC was 15 LPA. Highest number of placements were in the Marketing domain. Some of the top recruiters were Toyota, Zomato, HSBC, SBI, etc.
Campus placements are conducted and are of very good quality with transparency and honesty as their core pillars. Campus placements begin from the 4th term-end onwards and last until the last student gets placed. For our batch of MBA 2019-21, over 100 companies have visited so far with 270 students placed to date out of 283. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Amazon, PayTM, Hero, Capgemini are a constant. The highest package offered this year was 34 LPA for a domestic job offering with an expected average package within the range of 13-15 LPA. The placement report is prepared according to IPRS and audited by an external agency. I have been placed in the BFSI sector and plan to venture deep into this field on the basis of the knowledge and skills acquired during my stay at IIMU.
IIM Udaipur is one of the best colleges in India which offers almost 100% placement. The infrastructure and facility of the College is good. Beside these it's beautiful location, campus architecture, 100% attendance criterion, it's connection with international university make it a good Institute. The minimum School education is required of 10+2 and 4years of University education with a bachelor's degree is also needed. A valid GRE/GMAT score with minimum supervisory experience is mandatory for the one year PGPX course in IIMU.
IIMU 2017 placement highest CTC is 18 LPA and average CTC is 13. 20 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Johnson & Johnson, Mahindra & Mahindra, Narayana Health Care, Reliance Retail etc. Job roles are offered in various domains like planning and supply chain management, material management.
Placements at IIM Udaipur consist of two parts - the Summer Internship Process (SIP) and the final placements. The SIP is a mandatory part of the curriculum. The SIP usually starts from the second term of our MBA and goes on till everyone in the batch is placed. For a couple of years, IIM Udaipur has been known to complete 100% Summer Internships. The final placements start in the fifth term. A few prominent companies hiring from IIM Udaipur are Accenture, Deloitte, Amul, Cisco, etc.
While working in a MNC I decided to pursue an MBA course to give necessary direction to my career. But due to time restrictions, I was unable to leave my job. Hence, I joined Distance MBA program in Vardhman Open University. Initially, I was unsure if the university would be able to serve my purpose. As I look back, I am quite satisfied with my decision. The faculty and study material was enough to prepare me for the corporate world. My only concern with the university was the delay in releasing the results.
I applied for admission on the basis of my MAT scores. Which exempted me for appearing in the Management Entrance Test (MET) organised by VMOU. After getting shortlisted I presented the documents of my professional degree.
PGPM course from IIMU changed my life for good. It was a roller coaster of learning experiences. The institute is pretty much dedicated towards preparing the leaders for the future. One of the best things about the institute was that they were constantly emphasizing on imposing cultural diversity and academic diversity to infuse a varying perspective in the classroom for enhanced learning.
Alumni network hold several programmes around the year and gather heavy donations for the college and student welfare. College has a very good alumni network which works very closely with the college administration and extends its support in all possible manners.
Any Graduate from any discipline can choose MBA course in Marketing. This University does not conduct any Online Entrance Exam. The selection is based on graduation marks.
A lot of MNC companies come in this university for placements.Not all students get placements, but many sincere students manage to get a job with the help of placement cell in our University.
