I took GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam and secured All India Rank as 177. This score is usually valid for 2 years and with this score one can apply to any of IITs and other similar higher educational institutes for Masters program. I opted IIT Delhi because of high reputations among other similar institutions and also the ranking was #1 in whole India, so, this was the main reason to opt for this.
I did M.Tech in Solid State Materials (Nano and Microelectronics). This course is designed to provide in depth study of Microelectronics, Chips design and fabrication of semi conductor devices. Along with this one gets key knowledge on Nano particles, Nano devices and their synthesis techniques, which is a niche technologies. The overall curriculum was amazing and very interesting.

Fee is very less compared to other institutions. One will also receive a monthly fellowship of about INR 8000 per month which is given by MHRD on the basis of GATE scores during admissions and this will continue based on the scores obtained by students in academics. I have done part time m.tech from DTU. For this they conduct separate exam, interview and B.tech percentage. One must have one year of industrial and teaching experience to apply for the same. DTU is one of the most reputed university in Delhi.
Top companies like google, amazon, renowned MNC come for college placements. They offer a good package starting from 8.0 lac - 60 lac per annum. Nearly all students get placed. But part time students are not allowed to participate in placements as they are already placed.
