Overall , I would say my College is really awesome with respect to seniors , faculty , facilities. The teachers are knowledgeable and interested , seniors are helpful and supportive and even the working staff are assistive and polite. However few developments are still needed such as the infrastructure is too old, few instruments are to be replaced which can be done by proper funding to respective department and also the library requires books to be upgraded to latest editions
The MBBS course is oriented towards wellness of society. It teaches it's students as to how to approach a disease , it's cause , it's pathogenesis, it's diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. Actually, in the MBBS course, there is no issue of placement. After completing 4.5year course we have to do a 1yr internship in which you get earning of 5k per month. Also after the internship, you get the MBBS degree. Then you have to do 1year service in a rural area where you get 60k-80k payment per month from the government. After that, you can start your clinic or many government job opportunities available like a medical officer. One can also study further by cracking the NEET PG/ NEXT exam.
At first it may seem a very lenient college/administration, especially when the rival medical colleges in Mumbai are very strict but over the years you realize that it was for the better and the other college students suffer of inexperience, bookworm culture and unknown of "duniyadari".
This college is one of the best medical colleges in Maharashtra. Within short span of 5-6 years it has gained high reputation. The college is also in well reputed area of juhu. Number of patients is also high.
I don't find any negative remarks regarding our college except that the UGstudnets have to wait for 4years before appearing for the NEET pg courses. Rest everything is postivie. We are currently the 2nd best medical college in india after AIIMS New Delhi. And we are provided with world class facilities and iam glad that i got admission in this college.
Overall College is Good except fees of College course not affordable for Middle class family students. College staff is good. College campus is good. Result of College good. Infrastructure of College is good, all. The facilities are available except mess food not too good.
All India common medical entrance examination. The course chose me. There was only one seat left and I had no other option.
Fees was expensive but we fought and made it cheap. We were charged for the paying seat which is like 1.5 lacs per year but we fought a case in the high Court and won and the college had to reduce it to like 25000 per year .
