It was nice college. College faculty was best and cooperative but the admin block faculty are too rude as only have their profit from the money and they only take care for them only not the student personal feelings.
My Btech is in Mechanical engineering. So in the mechanical engineering, we have nice curriculum and experience, we do have two mid semester test and according to that we used to get the internal numbers in the exams.
Talking about my placement, I am not statisfies with the placement and internships which they had provided to us. We almost have expectations from the college, but did not get any specfic core companies.
We do have specifically many events, but Rajni and Roshan are the best main events. In which we used to participated every year. It was quite nice and well recommended functions in my college carrier.
It was feasible although, but the hostel fee is no good. We do have many sports days and annual sports day function in the hostel also, but the we have take care for the un certainity breakage of the equipments.
I had clear the entrance test to get admission in the college. Also it's is AET for all the new students, college have different programs like Btech, MBA, and all etc, we all have one exam to clear and get the admission in the college.
We do have many sports days and annual sports day function. Like everything we have in the campus. Talking about infrastructure, it was nice and good for simple students, so college is good. Hostel have many facilities to warm up like gym and volleyball.
It was nice experience in college, but please beware of admission procedure first, rest assured college is Good nice. Talking about infrastructure, it was nice and good for simple students, so college is good.
Actually, one day Kiran bedi came to the scholarship mela in my home town and there I have got scholarship on the basis of merit in entrance. Then finally I had got 50% off of the regular annual fee of the college
Actually, the best and most important thing for this college is we do have best faculty for the college, we have all engineering backgrounds, nurssing, MBA, BCA faculty in the colleges. My best teacher Er. Anil kumar H. O. D has best teacher for me.
From the 3rd semester, you are eligible for an internship. TCS, Infosys, Samsung etc are available here but if are taking admission here you should mainly focus on exams like gate etc. average package is 20k per month and the max is 1 lakh so it's not good. 50% are getting placed every year but mainly students are focused on sports or government exams. I want to run my startup but the primary focus is on gate exam and skill development.
Placement is average, I think every year 35-45% of students are getting placed. From last year or 7-8 semesters, students become eligible for campus placement. Every company has its own academic cutoff results to attend their exam. Companies like Mahindra, Infosys, Patanjali, Microsoft are many more little companies are visited campus every year. The highest package in mechanical got 4 lakh and average is about 2 -3 lakh. After completing B.E if I did not get campus placement then try my best to qualify for GATE and I also go for general competition.
From the 3rd year of your engineering, you are eligible for your campus placement if you have a CGPA above 7.5. Throughout the year many companies visiting universities for hiring and TCS is major among all. You can also see hirers like Microsoft and Amazon. Last year the highest pakage offered was 43lpa and placements went off with an average pakage of 3.5LPA. I don't know the exact percentage of placement but could say it was decent. At current, I am wondering a job at google.
our college has approx 75 percentage placements out of the eligible students. There are MNCs and other big companies come in SLIET for recruitments like MAHINDRA, TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, JINDAL, MARUTI SUZUKI, WELSPUN, CAPGEMINI, GODREJ, etc. The highest package of our college is 14lacs and the average salary package is 3.5 lacs which is really too good.
More than 90 percent of students get placed in Computer Science and Engineering. The average package is above 12 lakhs per student. IIT ROPAR is ranked 25 in engineering institutes ranking by NIRF. Overall 80 percent or more students get placed per year. I am planning for research after MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
Nirf Ranking of the college. Placement records of the college and the companies coming in campus. The well known infrastructure and faculty of the college. Opportunities to grow my skills and myself. It is near to house too. And in my marks it was best what i can get.
I joined this college because the environment of this college fascinated me and truly speaking I experienced that surroundings gives us a perfect feel of discipline. I was also attracted by the green cover of college, the ECOSYSTEM. The faculty welcomed me with a warm tone which bounded me to join this college.
The teachers here believe in you and will do everything they can in helping you to not just achieve your target grades but even exceed them and do better. The teachers will also address the main issues that you have with exam technique and revision and will, therefore, help you to achieve better grades in future exams.
Although it was privately funded institution, Khalsa engineering college provided best facilities for students to nurture their talents and obtain requisite skills for progressing ahead in life. We owe it to them. If anything can be improved it is the placement opportunities and hostel facilities that need a bit of touch.
