Well experienced faculties. Good learning as well they equipped students with well professional experience from the first day of college itself. and good library with almost 1000+ authors of book and reaserch publication established.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Course fees for MMS (master of management studies) which is governed as per Mumbai university rule is 4 lakh for 2 year. and no EMI option is available and other course offered is PGDM (Post graduae in diploma management)which is autonomous syllabus governed by college itself the course fees for 2 year duration is 8 lakh and no EMI option is available for these course as well.
Placement rate is about 98%. in marketing specialisation placement is 100% and for the rest specialisation average placement rate is 95% and students are placed with an average package of 4. 5 lakh. college have good connect with corporates and internship is mandatory part for curriculum and hence they give 100% placement for internship of 2 month.
I appeared for MH CET entrance exam which is for state level MBA entrance exam I scored 75 percentile and got admission in Hindi minority quota in Durgadevi saraf institute of management studies and the cut off was 43 percentile for Hindi minority quota and for general quota it was nearly 63 percentile and getting admission thourough CAP process one need to go and submit all academic marksheet till graduation and pay some advance fees to secure seats.
Hostels were only available for girls till year 2019. with hostel fees is 1 lakh /year including breakfast and dinner. girl hostel is adjacent to college and Boys hostel has been opened in year 2019 and is 1 km away from college. the hostel fees is same as girls hostel fees. hostels are well equipped with basic amenities.
Every year alumni meet is held where alumni from 2010 passout to till date are entertained and experiences are shared among each other as well as between faculties and some alumni bring placement opportunities for the current students studying in college. hence they have strong bonding with college.
In Durgadevi saraf institute of management studies all faculties are industry experienced professional carrying experience of over 8 year in industry and many are doctorates. so they are able to share well practical knowledge of market and industries.
Versus was held as annual sports festival where students every department participate and with active participation of faculties too. Information technology lab was well equipped with Microsoft processor and high speed connectivity and the lab could accommodate 120 students at a time and lab was also equipped with projector for teaching.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Course curriculum is as prescribed by Mumbai University rule. Course specialisation was Marketing it is 2 year course with 4 semester for the first year there is 2 semester and remaining 2 for 2nd year. the course remain same for all specialisation i. e finance, hour, and operation. from 2nd year there is core specialisation in the field which you have choosed.
Sabrang is the culture fest celebrated. Versus is the sports held. Touge conclave is held for marketing. Financia is held for finance department. hour o scope is held for hour dept. In above thouree there is participations of approx 80- 100 students.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
No loan facility is available as course fees need to paid at stipulated time no grace period is awarded. for both the courses MMS and PGDM. but in case of Under low economic condition there is special privilege is offered to students for backward economic class which is applied during admission procedure and mentioned during cap process i. e Central administration process and seat obtained thourough this category are given Some relaxation in fees.
