My college seniors are my guiding light. In a course like MBBS we learn 50 percent things from our seniors they are the ones who based on their experience guide us regarding preparation for our university exams. They even clear our doubts.Ours is a ragging free campus
Right from early childhood the urge to become a doctor kept me going. The desire was so strong and the dream so vivid that I didn't had a plan B. The first step was to get the MBBS degree. After plus two exams,I wrote NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (NEET) and underwent online counselling as per the ALL INDIA RANK LIST. I was selected for the course of MBBS as per my online choices.
Our faculty are the cornerstone of our college.First of all they are well established doctors in their respective fields. They meet the requirements prescribed by the MCI guidelines. They take the efforts to teach us the most difficult course in entire world. They prepares powerpoint presentations, and even chalk and board for teaching.
Was given to me in the last round of counseling and I didn't have any other option and we thought it was a deemed university. And the infrastructure wasn't bad and seemed like a good college. And the teaching is good but the patients in the hospital are less
Find yourself jobs most of then go for writing pg exams. Good students get seats others try jobs some get. Depends and I have heard some seniors joining aiims for pg and many join pg courses. I'm not sure about that
This college has several medical departments and it provide tertiary health care.It is patient friendly. This college is a new college just 15 years old but the development of this college is very fast. Now a new department Geriatrics has also started. The overall experience is good.
Positives first:- 1)excellent teaching 2)beautiful campus. Pretty well maintained. Negatives:- 1) orthodox people 2) hostel mess food sucks. ( rice sambhar rasam and vadas mostly. Pretty monotonous food and for someone who is not from south India it sucks. 3) college canteen is ridiculously small It only serves biscuits, coffee ( no tea) Some shitty packed juice which doesn’t taste that good 4) the canteen only serves rice biryani dosa samosa coffee and bakery items and has very very limited options. 5) we are fined for everything. From coming late to forgetting id cards or not wearing uniforms.
As it is a medical college, there is nothing like placements here .although many faculties who wish to continue in the same college as lecturers or professors are welcomed with an entrance exam.
The course curriculum is as prescribed by the board handling medical colleges in India. Talking about the medical field it was always about practicals so it is good in that too.
