Course Curriculum Overview

Practicals and clinical postings are major learnig and skill generating part in the course of mbbs. There are conferences targeted at future exams and skill and knowledge. There are live cases of accidents from casualties.

Placement Experience

Placement is not required as doctors can work anywhere. There is one year compulsory internship with stipend upto ?40000

College Events

Ganesh festivals- there is involvement of six hundred students and one fifty internship aspirants. All the faculty ans doctors. Annual funtion- It is celebrated in the college itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive but cheapest in india. ?576500 for the tution fee and ?127000 for the hostel fees every year. There are additional examination fees which are around ?15000 every year. There is transparency in the fee breakdown but the services are not provided completely.

The college does not offer scholarships. I have not been given any scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is not much big but is enough to hold all the students, doctors and staff. Gender ration male:female is 1:2 There are student dorm parties which is organised by students with their own money. There are no workshops in hostel. There is no facility for sports.

Yes, the room is for two occupants in sharing with one attached bathouroom if the hostel is full there are pg’s which charges around ?10500 per month. There is rental of ?10500 per month for the hostel.

NEET entrance exam. Admission by Pandit deendayal university. Childhood dream as my dad is also a doctor. Cheapest private medical college in country. NEET Entrance, get rank under 30000, evaluation, counselling, admissions.

Pretty good. There are thouree lectures in first year and two practicals for all thouree subjects. There are two lectures in second professional and a clinical posting of thouree hours with practical of two hours for four subjects. There are two lectures and posting for all subjects in final professional.

Discipline and coordination between every student and

i like the equality and the behaviour of the faculities of the college
the cleanliness of the college and the eqiuity present there
the hospital is linked to the college which help to interact

Dislikes

the fee structure is too much for the middle class family
the behaviour of the faculties is not good as compared to others
the fee structure present there is due to the premises of college due to presence of the costly equipment present there

the curriculum basically depends upon the subjects of each subject of the years which include physilogy anatomy biochemistry in first year and it increases and the final year includes medicine gyaecology

Navigating Medical School: A Comprehensive Review

Likes

Teaching faculty is impressive, teaching staff are more friendly engaged with the students.
The teaching methods are up to date and includes latest projector enabled digital learning
The campus location is quite impressive and is placed in silent location which helps us to study properly without any disturbances.

Dislikes

The hostel infrastructure is very poor and needs to be improved
The road from college to hostel is very underated and needs to be improved
The social gathering is not so good and needs to be taken seriously and sincerely

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

I want to become a doctor so I chose MBBS. It was a bit difficult in the final year exams so regular studies are very necessary to get knowledge and pass the University exams and to get admission in neet pg.

To become a Doctor

Remarks:

Management is bad. There is some issues of unhygienic washrooms. Not properly ventilated. There is no light for play ground. Lots of street dogs in campus. There is no students society thats why there is no one who listen student complains.

One of the best Medical Colleges in India

Remarks:

AIIMS Raipur is good in case of patient load, best faculties, better amenities provided by the institution, well equipped and established labs. But since the college grows in its childhood, it has got some limitations like difficulty in knowing the local dialect, Chattisgarhi.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process.

Best Medical College in central india

Remarks:

We really proud about our institute Director. He is very efficient and contributed his valuable effort to make the institute very strong. He made the college one of best college among Indian medical colleges, within 8 year duration. College, and hospital facilities are efficient in all meanings. Faculties and staffs are efficient and very hardworking. There is dental college is on way of developing process.

Life in SSIMS Bhilai

For UG - you have to pass 10+2 and secure sufficient ranking in NEET UG exam For PG - you have to have MBBS degree and secure sufficient ranking in NEET PG exam. Both are all india level entrance exam and are governed by different government bodies as per their rules. The exams are conducted once a year and are medium in difficulty level After securing rank in these examinations one have to apply to be in counseling for colleges and get selected for the same to get admission 80% of the seats are admitted through state counseling and remaining 20% is through All India counseling for which one has to apply seperately. SSIMS A value for money
