The course curriculum is very well laid out to teach concepts related to Dental Sciences. The course curriculum is also somewhat related to recent trends and innovations making it fresh rather than being outdated. The labs and exams are more in this course and thus made me feel slightly hectic at the end of the day.
There are no placement and job opportunities in a Dental Sciences college but the course curriculum has internship component. But the college does not help in getting an internship and it is up to the students to find an internship with a good stipend.
There are a variety of events conducted and celebrated in the college which includes Technical Symposium events, Cultural events, Management festivals. All the events provide great opportunity for the students to develop both their curricular and extra curricular skills.
Bachelor of Dental Sciences has a fees structure which is not as expensive like that for a MBBS course but still it is little bit expensive than other science courses. But the fee structure was quite feasible in this college.
Even though a Dental Sciences college, there is quite some focus on extracurricular activities making sure that students gain some extracurricular knowledge rather than just book knowledge. There is no diversity in any form in the college and the students are very friendly.
The college is present in a remote location and thus the accessibility to the college is pretty much on the difficult side. But the admission process on the other hand is very much easy with great help from the staff.
Faculty plays an important role in every college and that too in a Dental Science college, it must also be of good standard to make sure that the students are well taught. The faculty of the college are well experienced and also are interested to teach the concepts.
I completed my BDS from Rajas Dental College and Hospital. I learnt numerous things and gained various skills at college. I enjoyed the course duration alot, we had very good teachers and good facilities at college helped us practice anytime and any much we liked. The overall experience of college was quite good.
I selected Madha Dental College and Hospital to pursue my BDS as the studies and exposure that this college provides is of the utmost level. Around after three years, I am satisfied with the quality of studies and the placement of my seniors has made me tension free about my future. I got the admission in college through the NEET exam. The college releases merit lists for the eligible students each year.
The job opportunities with the high demand for dental surgeons are higher as the college has a wide spectrum of the alumni. Also, with the one-year internship that is included in the five year BDS program, the students hold better eligibility in the market.
The college is a well known dental college in the country and not choosing it was not an option for me. The college is specialized in dental surgery and is assisted with necessary requirements to build a full-fledged expert in the field. Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) which provides you enough exposure was the greatest advantage for me. To get admission to the college one should get at least 50% marks in PCB/Biotechcombined and also you need to secure place in the merit list which is based on NEET UG dental Scorecard.
Madha Dental College and Hospital's BDS is a total of five-year course which includes Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) which is mandatoary to attend. The internship is availed in the hospital premises of college and helps you out to understand the core of the course under the guidance of the experts. The stipend is not facilitated in the internship program.
Overall I would rate the college 8/10 but it has a drawback that is it didn't have a playground but has a basketball court volleyball court and shuttle court
The college campus is too good, the college will arrange the camps in the villages as a free service for the people, the bus fees is higher were it is good for the high class people for middle class people it is not all satisfied in this price.
My college create, integrate, and disseminate knowledge, and foster in our students for the development of critical thinking and other intellectual skills along with their attitudes .It is the good place to study.
I wrote the Tamilnadu State Board examination. Passed out with 96%. I was interested in the field of Medicine. So I opted for this particular dental college through state wide counselling. The college is one of the top private dental college available in the counselling. By the way, marks weren't enough to get into medical college.
No placements. Job opportunities are good after finishing. Package after BDS- you ll be surprised. Not more than 15K in any big hospitals.
