I personally love my college. It is extremely well-maintained with good teachers and many facilities which most other places do not have. The students are not too concerned about politics and we are more academically oriented. Bullying is rare and is quickly addressed. The teachers and staff are concerned for students and compassionate.
I gave the NID entrance exam as well as the entrance exam for St. Xavier's animation course. I did not exactly get as score in the Xavier's entrance exam as it was not provided, but my name was on the list.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The fee structure is reasonable it is definitely not cheap but we are supposed to pay it quarterly and there are options for poorer students to get some benefits.
As I have not studied from a hostel I have no clue. However I have heard from friends who stay there that it is quite good.
My seniors are mostly chilled out. My sister passed out of here a few years ago and she regularly joins alumni meets. The structure of networking is very open and clear.
The faculty is great and we love interacting with them. They are smart compassionate and I love the fact that they are very keen on student feedback.
We have many different societies and other options there is a very strong film society, theatrical society,English academy, debating society and its fun.
The exam structure is balanced between class tests, mid terms, end terms, report writings and other projects. We are kept challenged but the work pressure is not monstrous, which is great.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course curriculum is challenging and extremely fun to do. It is very interesting and the pass courses I have film studies have a lot of scope to explore further.
We have several fests and a large christmas ceremony. Our biggest fest is Xavotsav which is extremely cool and has a huge number of fun events in them. We love this event.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
We have scholarships from poor students and also student loan options from the college. I did not have to take it but several do.
