REMARKS
The positive remark is we get a good opportunity to have practical section from Government medical college hospital kottayam. We are so blessed to have this opportunity. We will get a vast exposure from every department especially cardiology, neurology, critical care units, plastic surgery, orthopaedic etc.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Annual fee is 70000 excluding the hostel fee. In first year we should pay ?80000 including the caution deposit. Caution deposit will be refund after completing the course. Hostel fee ranges from ?3500- ?4000.
PLACEMENT WING
We have placement in different hospitals after 4th year. The main institution is Yashoda hospitals, hyderabad. We will get direct placement after completing our course. The only criteria is we should pass in all subjects upto 4th year. The starting salary is ?12, 000.
ADMISSION
Through entrance examination after completing higher secondary education we have to write the entrance exam conducted by keam and the cut off mark for this entrance exam is 10 out of 100. Only we can enter through qualifying this examination
HOSTEL FACILITIES
College have its own hostel. Hostel fee ranges from 3500-4000. Hostel rooms are divided by three students each in a room. Food is good and safely prepared. Hostel has a warden, a cook along with a security.
ALUMNI
Seniors usually come to our college and arrange awareness classes for us. They talk about the ample opportunities after completing the course. They also provide knowledge regarding the importance of nurses in society.
FACULTY
All the faculties are qualified. Our principal is Mrs Celine Thomas, she is a profeesor. we have a brilliant scholars as our faculties. External subjects are even taught by Doctors, and other facilities who are qualified in their subjects.
CAMPUS LIFE
We usually arrange extra curricular activities based upon our medical filed like awareness programmes regarding emerging health problems. We provide classes to community. We latest program conducted are Corona virus awareness programmes. Included awareness class, health education, flash mob etc.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Bsc nursing is a four your under graduate program. Consists of an yearly examination every year. Course is under kerala university of health sciences. Every year there are practical sections too. We got an ample practical skills from Government medical College hospital kottayam. All the faculties are very brilliant and qualified profeesors.
COLLEGE EVENTS
All the cultural, national festivals are celebrated here. Along with freshers day, candle light ceremony, graduation ceremony etc as the part of our course are also conducted here. All the day including the world AIDS day, TB day, cancer day are celebrated here.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Scholarship available are minority scholarship for christian and muslim students. Moma scholarship are also given. we can also take loans from bank. Fees are also reduced for scheduled cast and scheduled students.
