REMARKS
Overall, the college is very good. It provides the atmosphere to abolish our hesitation and gives a platform to showcase our talent or any kind of skill, like I got for my singing in the name of MTV colors of youth, T-Series, etc. Also, the college prepars you for Coorporate world with a lot of opportunities to get placed in MNC's.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The fee structure is worth for the facilities, we get on our campus. My semester fee is 43 thousand which adds up to 86 thousand per year, apart from this bus fee vary from location to location, mine was 36 thousand per year, hostel fee is 80 thousand for a year. Apart from this, there are charges for annual function "Parivartan" in our college which is 600.
PLACEMENT WING
The main reason, I took admission in CGC Landran is its best placements all over North India, upto 85%. I only have 3 offer letters in hand. the college manages to bring 400+ companies per year for on campus placements.
ADMISSION
It's a long story actually, any way I will share this. Basically, I am an long term student ( I gave my 1 year for IIT coaching, after completing my +1, +2), finally I was thrown with biggest disappointment by not getting qualified in IIT advanced. But, I got below descent mark in JEE MAINS, finally after counciling I was occupied with ' Metalargy and science' department. I was totally exhausted with those things. On the other hand, before the result of my JEE MAINS, I gave up my EAMSET preparation, assuming that I get good score in that. Finally I gave my EAMSET exam and got very less marks (60), as there is no clear guidance for me on that day, I was projected into this college. If not I may persue my btech in NIT BHOPAL. This is how I was ruined into this college.
ALUMNI
We had one Alumni connect session till now, and it was great to listen to our seniors who are well settled in their lives. we get to learn so many things that what should we do in a situation and how to react etc etc.
FACULTY
The faculty of our college is very helping in nature, like if we are on a project that needs our more attention, then the faculty gives us attendance for that also. But, most of the faculty lack in practical of the subject, they just focus on passing the exams.
CAMPUS LIFE
There are plenty of extracurricular activites in our college. Every week, atleast one celebrity visits the campus. Gender Ratio is 5:3, there are no students parties as it is a profeesional college. There is zero tolerence to any kind of ragging or any type of comments. Labs are not so good as the equipment is outdated and needs to be replaced. Overall, the college is good and gives a god exposure to the outside world.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Course curriculum mainly tests the ability of a student to remember things, presence of mind and ability to tackle unexpected situations. apart from curriculum, there are various projects, on which we are allowed to work to test our practical knowledge.
COLLEGE EVENTS
There are ample of cultural, technical and non technical events in our college. Every second day, one or another celebrity visits the campus for their film promotion or concert. Parmish verma, Diljit Dosanjh, Ranjit Bawa, Harf Cheema are few names from the ocean who visited our campus last year.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
The college provides us with many scholarships like minority, OBC, SC, ST etc. Also, college topper, University topper ansd also for any achievement in sports or cultural event. CGC Landran provides ducational loan at a subsidies interest, but it is our choice whether to opt for that or if we want to choose another bank of our choice.
