The administration & teachers & students must share a bonding towards the institute. Everyone is like having internal affairs & fights.
The course structure, coaching or teaching system, administration system, syllabus covering, knowledge of teachers nothing is good or up to the point to be called worthy to be a educational institution for graduation. The institute typically tries to product degree certificates with or without having any knowledge.
The placements and campusing was very very bad in our time. About 5-8% students got placement from college.
There were no cultural or educational festival held by college. Though the students themselves used to arrange for two festivals in a year. One robotic & another cultural. The robotic festival was overall fine. Students from all other colleges used to attend.
The fee structure at first was okay, feasible. Bt later as the institute started to increase its intake of students, increased the fee too. But there was about 5% students who could have a chance to study with fee waiver scheme provided by West Bengal govt.
No, I didn't opted for any scholarship or educational loan. But there was several students studying with loans.
The campus life was very boring. There was no open or free space in the campus. There was no gardening or field or playground. The small common room has no facilities of gamings. The transport to the college from main road was very hectic. No extracurricular activities. Labs were too short both in space & of equipments.
No, as there was no hostel. The college didn't have any facilities of hostel or any kind of lodging or fooding. There was some private hostels near to the college. Two boys hostel & one ladies hostel.
The alumni network is very unresponsive. Everyone is busy in their own life, so noone cares to spend time in alumni.
Through proper counseling done by West Bengal govt authority done in every year known as WBBJE(West Bengal Board of Joint Examination). Entrance exam taken after completing 12th standard. This entrance exam is a gateway to study for B.Tech, B.E & Medical aslo.
Max of the faculty members are not worthy of teaching in a institution for graduation. Those having proper knowledge, either doesn't care about students learning or too lazy to teach properly. No one cares about students quarries or problems faced by them.
JU has a wonderful placement record for students of the fourth year. The highest package is 42lpa while the average is 19 lpa.80% of students become eligible for placements. More than 150 companies visit the campus. While I plan to pursue an MBA degree by giving either CAT/GRE.
The placement cell of my college is very strong. From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS, Intel. Microsft. Deloitte, etc.205 students are placed in TCS in the year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa the previous year. After Jadavpur University, the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT, CSE, and ECE students. There are around 55-60% placements in another department. My plans are to do some great things after getting the degree.
As I have no other choice to choose better college than it's as my ranking score. As it is a government college so it's tution fees and hostel fees is so less. Even it's infrastructure and faculty is better to me. Otherwise it's placement statics is better. You can apply more internship to get stipend from 2 nd year. But it 's don't think that all faculty are best some are very poor but hostel and academic faculty is better than other government college.senior students are very helpful and the professor s of our college are knowledgeable a d friendly.
The main criteria is to quality WBJEE exam and has to passed out HS exam above 75% marks. I have scored 1675 general merit rank through WBJEE exam in 2019.
I was planning on giving CA Foundation exam after my 10+2. So I needed to do a course that would let me balance between the two. B.Com. was a safe choice, as I had heard from some of my close ones. So I went with that.
We didn't have campus placements until the year we graduated. We got a little training, however, on how to work in industries. Although we could find online internships, there weren't any available on campus.
The days I spent in Sidho Kanho Birsha University, were the best days of my life. I had made some amazing friends who are still friends with me. Some of my professors still guide me in my career with their valuable remarks. I am really grateful to my university.
Sidho Kanho Birsha University is one of the most renowned university in Purulia, West Bengal. Since I got a very good score in graduation, I was determined to do my masters course from this college. The college faculty had prepared a merit list of the selected candidates. My name was there on the second shortlist.

No,our college doesn't provide intership, but provide job placement. At the starting of fourth year, the college conduct job placement for students. Many core company and multinational comapanies come to take interview
This college didn't have hostel. This college didn't perticipate any type of inter college tournament. This college don't have all of the subjects just like some other. Due to present of one another college this college student number is low. But we love our college.
Overall college is good there is nothing bad but yes, you are on your own if you want to make your college life a better learning experience. Participate in the events you like and attend the workshops. Try not to come in clash with management, they can really screw you badly all the best.
