No any negative remarks for our College because this College is the best choice of my life . There studies, teachers, and everything is the best so u have to take admission in our College without any doubt.
Total course is of 4 and half years. Which means total 9 semester. 1st year :- 2 semester then 1st year Prof exam. 2nd year :-3 semester then 2nd year Prof exam. 3rd year :-2 semester then 3rd year Prof exam. 4th year :-2 semester then 4th year Prof exam.
Yes, after the 4th year final exam we have to join internship for one year in our own college hospital and stipend is around 24k. After the internship one can do govt job or house stuff ship or try to get the chance in NEET PG entrance.
Many of events are held time to time in our College like culture programs, Fest programs, alumini meeting, sports program, human activies, personality development program, farevell program, freshers party and so on.
Fee is very low and it is affordable to the student like me, from a lower middle class family. There is only 1500 rupees for admit in entrance exam, then 1800 in counselling, admission fee 1000, semester fee 4500,exam fee maximum 2000. Total course within 50k. Most important part is food is own expense.
Only one scholarship is given by government to the minority. As I am a Muslim and I get around 20k as scholarship. That means 2000 per month. Nothing bad. Our college allows only one scholarship for us.
Many of labs are in our College like computer labs, physics lab, machine labs, PCB labs, printing labs, robotics labs, and also sports club is here and all the types of physical activities are held here.
Hostel monthly rent is only 12 rupees,, which provides good bed, table, chair, fan, light, charging point for phone, laptop, open windows present, common corridor, common bathroom for student. But internal atmosphere should be better than this. Bur remember Food is own expense,it is not included in hostel rent.
Every year 1st &2nd Dec held alumni day held in our college. Albeit they are helpful but there is very much generation gap between the alumni and us. There is no brotherhood,,, relationship is like father son ?üòÇ
First I have to give the entrance exam named joint entrance but now this exam is being held as NEET UG. Then counselling process going on and then admission to college according to my choice or rank (obc /gen/sc/St)
In under graduation, there are mainly 19 subjects. Each has different departments. Which includes head of the department, professors, associate professors, assistant professors, pgt, demonstrator. According to me all faculties are good.
After passing the 9th semester and 3rd professional part 2 examination, all students become eligible for the internship which lasts for 12 months in the various departments under guidance of the pg residents and professors. At the end of the internship, we get our permanent registration number. After the internship, students can opt for 6 months of housestaffship in any department of choice based on the merit of their marks in the clinical subjects in the professional exams. Finally, after housestaffship, we can opt for either post graduation in a speciality or join hospitals for work.
Really a wonderful place to study. Very helpful management.
According to my rank, I was getting Burdwan medical college. But as because my hometown is in Murshidabad I chose this particular college. My first option was always the medical colleges of Kolkata. Unfortunately I didn't get them So without opting any other peripheral college,I chose the one which is closer to my home and I think it's a pretty good decision.
I applied for the NEET West Bengal State Counselling through the official portal of Government of West Bengal Department of Health and Family Welfare West Bengal. Next I was allotted a set in the college as per my course through selection on the basis of my NEET-UG Exam Scorecard.
COMJNMH Kalyani is a high-potential college with reaches. The college has a job surety and mostly with high stipend just as it also has an internship programme which builds the required qualities in the students which are surely to be further required in their career
CMSDH is a very good college with great education, good faculty and a very good teaching system. The campus-life is very good and there are extracurricular activities as well in the college. The hospital in the college has great facilities and is very good for training.
It's one of the best government medical College and hospital in West Bengal.Located on a well populated and well communicated area. The college provides the students an environment & opportunity to establish as an knowledgeable Doctor in future. The professors are efficient in their respective fields and student friendly. The hospital provides good infrastructure to make the students efficient doctors.
GOOD ACADEMICS,GOOD CULTURAL ACTIVITIES,GOOD FACULTY,GOOD LECTURE THEATRE, ALL ARE ACed,THERE IS FREE WIFI. BUT THERE ARE SOME NEGETIVES.SUPERSPECIALTY BRANCHES ARE NOT THERE. THERE IS NO CLINICAL SEATS IN PG, BUT FROM 2020 THERE WILL BE.
Well, this question doesn't apply technically, we go for internships in our final year and with the deficit doctors are facing, no one really thinks on placement
The course makes me a doctor in the future. It's tough, time taking and mind stuffing but it's enjoyable. Practicals is the heart and soul of medicine. From the very beginning they are a major concern. Research opportunities aren't intrinsic, many take the icmr sts with full support from the faculty. Also being part of SAMSA I get to share ideas and take them.
