The Master of Business Analytics (Professional) is a two year course with divided in sixteen unit and 192 credit point course, with 48 credits for college core units, 24 credits for business core units, 84 credits for professional core units, 36 credits for research, 12 credits for business research project and 24 credits for electives. Course structure is well built with industry requirements and is set accordingly when needed. We have good lab, practical sessions which is very much required, with many softwares to be learnt.
Victoria university has very good placement records, it guarantees placement after the course. They make us ready to work in big industries which require such talent. Few of the companies which recuit are Wipro, Accenture, Apollo, Bosch, Cera, Deloitte, Fidelity, future group, Genpact, HCL etc. We are been offered placement as well by our institute.
The fee of this course is high. The total fee of the two year course is 6,89,500. With yearly fee of 3,44,750. Fee is high but the level of education and facilities provided by the institute is great.
Our institute has lot of extra curricular activities for students such as seminars, forums, regular industry engagement events, guest speakers, industry projects, workshops, career guidance, counselling and training programs offered to students with the help of industry and academics.UNLEASHING POTENTIAL AND IGNITING MINDS was a recent industry seminar held.
Our institute has good alumni network. Our alumni network is very big with alumni working in big MNCs and have years of experience at various levels of the company. Our institute hosts events and we get guidance from them about the future steps we should follow. Seniors are also very helpful to us.
I am doing my Masters in Business analytics from this institute. It is a renowned institute and has good name in industry with good academic records and good placement. It is in collaboration with Victoria university Australia and ganpat university. Admission is done based on interview, after applying online, I was called for interview and in interview they checked my English speaking language, achievement till date, placement which I got, listening skills, understanding of the course etc. After that I was given admission. English speaking course or certificate is needed. An undergraduate degree equivalent to Australian's UG degree person can apply.
We have good faculties which are industry experts and have good knowledge about the professional career. They are having good education and professional experience of international standards. With having lots of awards and recognition from the industry, we are blessed to have such faculties.
More than 80% of students get placed. The placement is inclined towards the marketing domain. There is a placecom committee, consist of students and faculty. They invite the different companies to the campus. Highlights in terms of company are TCS, Reliance, ICICI, HDFC, Torrent power etc. Average placement of the college is 5.75 LPA. For marketing it is 6 LPA. For HR, average is 4 LPA.
The institute has a dedicated placement committee that assists students in getting placed for the summer internship as well as for final placement. The institute, because of a good reputation, attracts companies from diverse fields to come and recruit graduates from the campus itself. Companies start visiting the campus in October and the whole process of placement winds up in March. The institute has succeeded almost all of the time to place 100% of students. The average package offered is around 8.5LPA, the highest package for the year 2019-2021 was around 16 LPA.
After pandemic, placements affected very badly. The average annual package came down. But still there are opportunities which can be availed by students. Some of the first year students faced revoking of internship because of this they have to find new internships on urgently basis.
Placements begin in the 5th semester but before that in the summer vacations, all MBA students are required to go through the summer internship program. These 2 months are the most crucial for the student because this will give them industry exposure in the field that they want to adopt later on
The placement season commences from the month of September. Infosys being a mass recruiter with about 50 offers each year offering a package of about Rs. 9 lacs, some other prominent recruiters are Ericcson, Byju's, Dell, Schneider Electric, Explora Consulting, Usha International, Smytten, HDFC Bank, Indusind Bank, Tally Solutions, Dassault Systems, Adani Wilmar, Wipro, Neilson, Hyundai, Axis bank etc. With profiles ranging from consulting, business development, market research, to sales. The highest package offered to be Rs 19 lacs and the average package standing at about Rs. 9 lacs. The successfully places 100% of the students with of course exceptions being those who opt for family business and entrepreneurship.
