My course was the master level Dentistry Course. There, the syllabus included subjects like interception, diagnosis, prevention, and other abnormalities of developing and mature oro-facial structures. The course also pays special attention to treatment planning, growth, and development of bone structures.
I got good placement opportunities during my final year in the college. Doctors themselves approach the college for placement and provide us with amazing job opportunities. Every year, around 50% of students get an offer later and I was lucky enough to be one of them. My salary package was around 80,000 per month, which is quite good for a career start.
Since Maulana Azad is a government college, it is not expensive. The annual fee for my course is 45,000/- which seems nominal. The fee remained same for me every year and i was completely satisfied with it.
Since the college is located in the heart of Delhi, we conducted a lot of cultural, intellectual, and entertainment activities. Every student participated in the activity with enthusiasm and happiness. Our college also conducted health checkups and global conferences for enhancing professional and communication skills.
Since there are only 40 seats available every year, it is very difficult to join this college. But somehow I managed to be one of them! I was selected through an entrance exam that was held by CBSE on an All Indian Basis.
The faculty is great. They teach well and always ensure that we are ready to tackle the exams. Every subject becomes great when your teachers are helpful. They always used to welcome me when I had problems.
