COLLEGE LIFE IS VERY DIFFERENT

  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

I gave many entrance exams including JEE Mains 82 , BITSAT 194 , IPU CET rank: 12672 . My college is affiliated to GGSIPU(Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) so it gives us the admissions on the basis of the rank in IPU CET. I wanted to pursue my higher studies in Computer Science stream and this was the best college offering me this stream. So i opted for this college.

    PLACEMENT WING

Now campus placement is something every upcoming graduate dream of irrespective of the course. The campus placement of our college is almost 100% thanks to GGSIPU(the brand name) and packages offered are normally around 3.5 lakhs pa, unless they come across an extra ordinary student.

    FACULTY

As we all know, teacher is that person who lays down the first brick of the building of our education .The faculty is very much satisfying. Till now to all the people I have come across are very concerned about us, the students. Teachers there give in their best to make us understand the new concepts and make us learn them very efficiently.

    CAMPUS LIFE

The campus is not that perfect that I dreamt of as it is a professional course (B.Tech) I'm pursuing. But yes it is very good and satisfying we get equal time for our extracurriculars and the bookish lectures.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Since, I'm currently pursuing my course in this college so I just have a brief idea about my curriculum. I'm currently in my 2nd semester, for the first year the curriculum is same for all the courses, we are made to study basic PCM required for every engineer to have that much of knowledge. From 2nd year on wards we will study about our particular core streams.

  • INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

As our college is not that well known and famous in the industry. Our college is known as a college under GGSIPU so companies directly come for job recruitment but not for internships. We as students need to attend walk-in interviews for internships in the companies.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

As our college is not an independent college and it has to respect the laws of GGSIPU, so it doesn't offer any scholarships or loan. It can also be the truth I'm not aware of it.

Decent College and good placements here

Placement -

Placements are good compared to the other colleges. Many companies visit colleges and recruit the maximum number of people from the batch. Due to less strength, many students get the opportunity to get placed in their dream companies. So, placements are very good at this college.

College memories!

Remarks -

None, my college is great. It even takes care of students who might be mentally troubled. There are counselors who hear out students and give them sound advice to curb burnout due to depression. As it is a Ragging free campus, everyone lives in peace and harmony.

Good college

Remarks -

The college management needs to be more productive. They bug you about the silliest things, especially attendance. Attendance is 75% mandatory although it needs to be 50% in reality even if you have 70% attendance they would send text, mails, e-mails to somehow inform the parents every month which is pesty
