Placement department is not much responsive to students and very very slow in each decision. Even placement dept is unaware of what post a company is company is coming. I am final year student and I have faced things when we reached at interview venue and got to know that our college name is withdrawn from that interview, and our college didn't inform us.
Exam structure is good and college dont want you to fail. As it is autonomous they give marks and set papers that every one get pass. For new batch they take 2 internals of 30 marks and their avg is taken plus 2 assignments or quiz or any other thinga for 10 marks each Total of 50 marks from internals in which if you score above 45 and attendance is above 75% then you can give make up exam (exam you give when you fail finals so that it wont become backlog, a kind of 2md chance). Curriculum is good to get placed if they taught well.
Placement of college was good till last year and I dont know what happened this time, more than corona and recession the placement dept is responsible for poor performance. Dept is not responsive to studenta and inform students very late about any thing and sometime didnt inform us all. Many things happened like college got to know that a offer is withdrawn but informs the student after 1 month, they didnt inform us that our college name is removed from interview list and we got to know at interview venue.
Coming to events, every year in april udbhav is celebrated as cultural fest but when compared to other fests it is so poor that it would be great if you visit some place during those 3 days or you can sleep in your room. Fest closes at 6 to 7 pm every day and college is so miser in giving funds to organize event that even outside sponsers are not interested. Other events are tech fests, ieee eventa etc.
I dont remember fee structure much but it is feasible for most of the students. Additional fee like exam fee, ACE fee are to be paid every year. Along with all this, small expenses like payment for farewells, lab book given by college are there. Mode of payment if annual fee is easy and includes options like rtgs, neft, online payment, dd etc.
Scholarships are only for karanataka students and students with defense background which is easy to avail through college. College's account section will help you with every thing, that is from eligibility to all other requirements.
Campus life will be ruined in this college, teachers don't allow students to attend events like kannada rajyotsava and udbhav (cultural fest) for sake of attendance. Every thing will come to one point that is attendance and nothing else. No one cares about over all development of students. They even cut attendance when we were taking placement exams. If you are thinking to take admission in this college then forget about sports, competition, robotics, and debates etc.
I have not opted for hostel but I know about them, there is separate hostel for 1st year students to stop any chance of ragging and for other year students two hostels are there which can accomodate large no of students Rooms in other two hostel are available for single, double and triple sharing with diff fee
Not much interaction from seniors and absolut nil from alumni, only a little negligible help from senior, you can do things without that also.
Two entrance exams are there, comedk for everyone and cet for karnataka students only. Online counselling will be there to confirm the seats then you have to take admission for that seat by going to the college. Forms for exam will be open in feb or march and exam will be in 1st week of may mostly, centers are all over the india and exam is on online platform. Over all admission process is easy.
Every week 3 to 5 lectures of every subject and labs. Most of the teacher are doing phd and dont have much hold on there subjects, they just teach what they know and never tried to go beyond that except few. I dont know if they have any industry experience or not but the way they teach is so poor and notes from them is just copy paste from book. Attending classes dont make any different to your performance as you are going to study from youtube anyway.
This was the first University I came to know about a s child and later on I got to know about other universities and after 12th just gave it a shot on the entrance and luckily got into it. Equal balance between studies, co curriculars and extra curriculars. I chose Economics honours because that subject always interested me in school also and economics is the subject that I scored the most in class 12 boards.
Since I just completed my 1st year I do not have complete details about how the process for placement and job opportunities go. But every student does get placed in some or the other company with a great package of salary structure.
Because its good for finance student's placement. Also it's offer 99% placement in PGDM.it takes the responsibility of students from polishing their knowledge to providing job. also it provides plenty of scholarship for many students who are not in a position to pay their fee. This college is in full support of every students.
This year in 2020 65+ companies came for placement ant they took all the students except 5-6 students who want to start their own business or don't want that particular job profile which was offered to them. alumni network is very good. Many big companies came here like Bata, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, ICICI securities etc. Job profile mainly offers here is sales infact in bank also sale profile will offer but in fmgc company or in Deloitte core finance student's can find their way.
Good remarks as campus is good, fee is feasiable, environment is good, have good faculties. Bad remarks, need to improve more in infrastructure, need more labs and workshops.
The entire admission process was simple and direct. I downloaded the application form and submitted it with all of my academic details along with my KMAT exam scores. I opted for the Al Ameen institute because they have a branch here in Bangalore which is near my house.
Placement opportunities were limited but good. Generally, there were placement drives where a lot of companies would visit to recruit students. We got a special preference in the placement process, because of having good work experience. Some of the companies which I sat interviewed for were NTPC, Karvy, Pepsi, Federal Bank, etc. Packages offered are generally in the range of 4-6 LPA.
My admission was based on the entrance exam of CAT. I have a score of 74% and was eligible for admission. I fill out the form online and got a call for a personal interview. I went through the interview and then, finally, my admission was granted.
The placement cell works efficiently to place 100% of students and the placement in our school is very good. Companies like Aditya Birla Group, Yes Bank, Deloitte, etc. visited our college. The highest salary package offered is Rs.20 LPA and the average is around Rs.6 LPA.
I took the GMAT entrance exam and then I registered and fill out the form online. And after a few days, I was called for a personal interview. I chose to study the PGDM course at this college because it is one of the best institutions for management studies.
The placement and job opportunities in our college are good. Around 99% of the students are placed. Our college has a good reputation in the case of a placement. More than 100 companies visited our college for placement. Our college also provides internships and the average stipend is like Rs.12000.
