COLLEGE REVIEW

  • 8.5/10Ratings

    REMARKS

The college management is average sometime they will take efforts to make your life a lot easier and sometimes there are times when they don't even understands students agony so it's kind of both good and bad but overall they are supportive in their own suitable methodology.

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

The fee structure is average a progression of atleast 10% hike of fees every year is general trend which would cost you around 5 lakhs for 4 years span. The college has a very transparent mode of fee submission. Fees can be submitted via Demand draft, NIFT or online banking to the college account and they would even allow installaments in rare cases.

    PLACEMENT WING

The placement of our college is considered as one of the best in ggsipu even though the average package is about 4. 5 LPA but their are many students who've gotten really far ahead from outside campus placements implies if you're good enough then you don't even need college placement.

  • ADMISSION

Ggsipu used to take their own entrance exam known as CET which is an abbreviation for Common Entrance Exam which is followed by counselling sessions at my time their were 3 sessions and one slide window in each session the list of colleges and course were filled and lastly each colleges release the list of students with respective courses.

  • ALUMNI

The alumini network is not as strong as it should be but training and placement cell has taken some initiative for improving overall result of alumini meets and interactive sessions with alumini.

    FACULTY

The faculty of our college is well educated and helpful if you take initiative atleast of my branch which is information technology but the curriculum won't allow much freedom to the overall growth and won't make you industry ready for that you need to join some private institute for helping and nurturing you so that you can compete in big league.

    CAMPUS LIFE

The gender ratio in our college is quite good as our college offers Btech, bba, mba and law studies as well even though Btech has a quite low number of girls but other courses compensate for maintaining a good gender ratio. There are some extracurricular activities attached to different cultural societies such as jatayu which is a society for car making and they participate and even win many competition across the globe the nukkad natak society of our college and literature umberalla for poets and FIM is funk in motion which is a dance society and their are IEEE, MSP etc.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

The course curriculum is quite outdated and it isn't upto the reputation of capital's standard. Their are 8 semesters each semester has two seasonals with atleast 6 subjects each having some credit score for graduation a minimum of overall credit score is required and some subjects are compulsory according to the respective course.

    COLLEGE EVENTS

There were/are many cultural fest and hackathons with many other activities such ted talks, MUNs and interview with great personalities such as Dr subhash chandra. There are sports competitions as well which have badminton tournaments volleyball tournament and a drag racing car with societies and nukkad natak competition.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

No I didn't apply for any scholarships or education loan even though the ipu gives annual prizes for topper in each field.

Decent College and good placements here

Placement -

Placements are good compared to the other colleges. Many companies visit colleges and recruit the maximum number of people from the batch. Due to less strength, many students get the opportunity to get placed in their dream companies. So, placements are very good at this college.

College memories!

Remarks -

None, my college is great. It even takes care of students who might be mentally troubled. There are counselors who hear out students and give them sound advice to curb burnout due to depression. As it is a Ragging free campus, everyone lives in peace and harmony.

Good college

Remarks -

The college management needs to be more productive. They bug you about the silliest things, especially attendance. Attendance is 75% mandatory although it needs to be 50% in reality even if you have 70% attendance they would send text, mails, e-mails to somehow inform the parents every month which is pesty
