So far so good. The best institute I’ve ever joined.
Curriculum may vary depending on the course you choose to study, eg: BCA which is divided into 6 semesters. The duration for every semester is 6 months each during which a candidate must clear all the subjects by appearing exam during the last month of the semester. Failing in any subject will be considered as backlog.
Placement is rare, most of the subject teachers work on a contract basis. Permanent placement is something we don’t get offered with often, even if does, it’s hardly the post of technical assistant.
Seminars on different subjects and topics takes place often and other events such as farewell program, annual sports meet, teachers day celebration, pre-Christmas are celebrated every year. And during other times, the functions are often related to Swach Bahat scheme which is sponsored by the state and central government.
Fees are higher for general students but for ST/SC, it’s completely free expect for the security deposit which cost around 2k. Both online and walk-in payment mode is accepted. There is our official welcome www. nielit. gov. in where every details if fees and admission in mention.
Form will be provided by the institute for the scholarship, one must fill the form and attach all the required documents as stated and submit it to the concerned authority.
Events such as competitions, debates and talent shows are very random. It takes place often and is often based on technology and other E-learning. Students are the one who takes initiative to held such events and faculties are always ready to support interms of financial needs and other stuffs.
There are 2 separate hostels for both boys and girls located in the institute premise itself. The admission will cost 1k and the room rent will cost 1k per month will should be paid in installment for the whole semester (6 months which equals 6k) during the time of admission. And the mess fee is paid separately which is 3500 per month.
Seniors are friendly and fun, seniority plays a major role in our institute, they lead the juniors for taking part in various programs and events and also guides in subject matters and other study fields.
Both online/walk-in admission is acceptable. You’ll just have to fill up the admission form and enter details and then submit it at the reception. Admission usually starts during the month of June which will be notified one month ahead on Facebook page and NIELIT website.
Not certain about the number of faculties but the head of the institute is known as The Director followed by Joint Director, head assistant, engineers, Technicians and technical assistant, librarians, subject teachers and ground staff members. Every faculty in our institute has professionalized in their own respective field.
There are many company are visit for hiring student at the last semester of a student compete currently Infosys company is come for hiring students and 1 girl is selected by the company based on some powerful knowledge and skills. And they offer her valuable package.
First of all SICSR is ranked number 1 for the BCA Programme. I wanted to explore and live a hostel/campus life which is really overwhelming to be honest. From my childhood I was fascinated with the tech-world and determined to enter into an IT world, aspiring to become a tech-enthusiast. I love technology because it’s the triumph of the human intellect. It just felt that SICSR would be the best college for me and taking admission into SICSR is one of the best decisions of my life.
I don't have exact idea about placements. But many companies come at the final year for placements. I've just heard about Deloitte, Cognizant to coming to our college for placements. There were more companies but I cannot say as such.
Positive in every sense except for somewhere, somewhat in few things. Partiality. The students in whose stream the main decision making faculty teaches are in favorites list and others are neglected either due to their lack of interest in any activity, classes or partialty.
if you are talking about Indira institute of management then yes this college has great history of placements.Indira group has many colleges but go for IIMP(Indira institute of management) only.and if you are getting admission in PUMBA(Pune University MBA department) then go for it as it it duke of all college for MBA.
The college demanded that the student should have 50% marks in class 12 th and they have to clear the entrance examination with good marks. I scored 71 percent in class 12th and my entrance exam rank was 133 which were both good and I was able to get admission without any hassles/problems.
Companies like wipro, hcl and tcs would show a lot of interest in hiring the students from the college. They knew the hardships through which the students have gone through to complete the course and they themselves know that these challenges have transformed the students into the required professionals.
