The good aspects of my college are college placements because, in the end, you need a job after your graduation and this college provided us with enough opportunities through which you can grab a job easily during placements in the week there are like 7-8 companies visiting our campus for placements and in the month of sept sometimes there are 2 companies visiting campus on the same day the bad aspects are that they're very strict about the 75% attendance criteria other than that there are no negative thoughts about this college.
The reason why I choose this course is that it offers a wide range of career opportunities, faculty to student ratio in our college for theory lecture is 1:60 and for labs and training classes it is 1:30.
From 6th-semester students are eligible to sit in placements after the 6th-semester companies start visiting the campus very frequently companies like amazon, direct I, google, navigus , tivo, fico, TEKsystems, Vivo, Wipro, CTS,Capgemini, and many more visited our campus. the highest package was 32.5 lakhs offered by media, net and the avg salary offered at college was 4-5LPA almost 80-85% of students get placed my plan is to continue working with its this year as a programmer analyst
During my 4 yrs of engineering the semester fees is not increased by single rupee although hostel fees is increased two times by 5000 rupees the cost to study in this college is between 6-7 lakhs for 4 years if you're from a diff state, If you are from Punjab and you completed you're 12th from Punjab board your semester fees will be 13000 per semester otherwise for other state students it is 43000 for 1 semester if you take hostel then the cost will be like between 6-7 lakhs for other state students, for students belonging to Punjab, it will cost between 4-5 lakhs, the job I got from campus is of programmer analyst trainee at CTS.
The annual fest of college is parivartan and it is organized in the month of November or February in this fest the college organizes more than 25 diff types of competition open to all in which outsiders can also participate consisting of technical and non technical events for days and also many singers movie star visits college very frequently for promoting their movies and cokes studio is also organized in our college in the month of September .
facilities provided in the room are one bed one chair and one study table and almirah other than that nothing is provided by the institute meal quality was not bad and everyone in the hostel eats the same whether its the hostel warden or staff working in college the registration process for a hostel is quite simple you have to submit hostel fees in the ACC's department after that you have you submit a photocopy of that slip to the chief warden and he will allow you the hostel for which you have submitted the fees i rented pg in the last year of my BTech pg are not so good near college they're charging very high and not delivering the good service rather than taking a pg you can rent a flat in nearby societies
From the 3rd semester, you are eligible for an internship. TCS, Infosys, Samsung etc are available here but if are taking admission here you should mainly focus on exams like gate etc. average package is 20k per month and the max is 1 lakh so it's not good. 50% are getting placed every year but mainly students are focused on sports or government exams. I want to run my startup but the primary focus is on gate exam and skill development.
From the 3rd year of your engineering, you are eligible for your campus placement if you have a CGPA above 7.5. Throughout the year many companies visiting universities for hiring and TCS is major among all. You can also see hirers like Microsoft and Amazon. Last year the highest pakage offered was 43lpa and placements went off with an average pakage of 3.5LPA. I don't know the exact percentage of placement but could say it was decent. At current, I am wondering a job at google.
More than 90 percent of students get placed in Computer Science and Engineering. The average package is above 12 lakhs per student. IIT ROPAR is ranked 25 in engineering institutes ranking by NIRF. Overall 80 percent or more students get placed per year. I am planning for research after MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
It's a government university and it was the only government institute where I could get B. Tech(CSE) with 69 JEE score. I wished to pursue Computer Sciences only. I had options of some private institutes but I opted for the government one.
Nirf Ranking of the college. Placement records of the college and the companies coming in campus. The well known infrastructure and faculty of the college. Opportunities to grow my skills and myself. It is near to house too. And in my marks it was best what i can get.
Although it was privately funded institution, Khalsa engineering college provided best facilities for students to nurture their talents and obtain requisite skills for progressing ahead in life. We owe it to them. If anything can be improved it is the placement opportunities and hostel facilities that need a bit of touch.
The bad thing about my college is that the college is situated to far from tha main place.sp transport ficilty is not good other wise the college is good.
