It's a college run by nuns. And it's the first women's college in Kerala. Well discplined. Good infrastructure and lab facilities. I wanted to experience hostel life. It's affiliated under the university of calicut.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus was revised in the year 2016. Industrial visit was included in the last semester as a study tour. Special school visits at the time of monsoon to make kids aware of monsoon diseases caused by microorganisms. Faculties are good and experienced.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are mainly in the field of laboratory diagnosis, in hospitals for people who opt for medical microbiology. Food microbiologists can get recruited in the field of food safety. Environmental and industrial microbiologists have a chance at industries and plants as quality managers.
College Events
Every year there is a management fests by the students of the management department. Special monsoon fest at the time of monsoon. Mega job drive for students and other unemployed people. Intercollegiate quiz and seminar presentation competition. International seminars and webinars by well known personalities
Campus Life
Good infrastructure. A sports ground somewhere a little far away from the college. The best college for women interested in sports. Excellent support for sports students. A well equipped library with academic and non academic books. Lab infrastructure and facilities are a bit unsatisfactory.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is not satisfactory. It is close to the college, just on the other side of the road. Accommodation for 4 members in a room. The timing is very inconvenient. Phone is not allowed inside rooms.

Placement Experience
There is no campus placement in the college. No such activities happened there. Other colleges offer such placement programs. Employability depends on each individuals hard-work. They have to get into the outside world and seek for new job opportunities. Mostly the job opportunities are in the private sector for this course. Even though public sector also offers jobs.

The college administration was good and very strict in all ways. So my parents choose this college for my better graduation. I completed my graduation in Botany and Biotechnology bacause I love plants, animals, elements, microbes and the technological ways of their functions.

Admission
Eligibility: 10-2 from any recognized board with science stream and minimum of 45 per cent marks. Admission forms are available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of merit.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities in the field are enormous. The college keeps the students updated about various job opportunities and internships according to their skills and help them prepare for the screening process.

The college doesn't offer every student a bright future, in fact it is the calibre of the students that garaged this institution as one of the top in the country. The College had made it's name and due to this students with high index mark joins this college. In fact the college is in needy of the students.

Nothing much. The old infrastructure of the college makes a nostalgic feeling. Some buildings of the college has its own history. There is a building name Kacheri Malika which was a court in thr early 90s.
Admission
Admission into this college was through 10+2 marks. You need to submit an application online and then you will get the application number and login id and then you need to login at http://admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in You need to pay 350(general) and 150 for SC/ST. Please don't forget to download the fee challan.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college provides bachelor's and master's degree in arts commerce and science. We are having 2 semester and the weightage is equal.The teachers complete almost all the topics well before time and the syllabus too is keeping pace with the growing time.

The negative remark about oru college is the limited number of faculties. The positive remark is these limited faculties are the best to lightning our way. The practical and theory education is very good and helpful for us
